Discombobulated 😂 Yeah. What is going on with instagram? I have a bookish account and 18 months ago I’d get hundreds of likes. Sometimes over a 1000 a post. Towards the end of 2023 it dropped to maybe 20 or 30 likes and hardly any engagement. I never posted for likes, but after months of almost no engagement, I gave up posting. It just wasn’t worth the effort.

Hi! I believe things dropped off because they altered the algorithm to prioritize verified accounts. Unless, do you have a blue checkmark? If so, then I have no idea what's going on. Regardless, it does feel like shouting into a void, doesn't it?

Hi 👋 I’m pretty much using a similar method to you. In Scrivener, I have a bullet point list of definite and possible scenes and a more detailed outline. I’m in the process of transferring key information into plottr, so I can play around with my plot structure. Like you, I’m a plantser. I’ll have a rough idea of most plot points and then things will change as I write 😂

Not me over here laughing and nodding because I do this at least once a week. lol I've loved how freeing the Rough Draft Challenge and other new challenges have been. I am not participating, but I've found myself writing more this month than I have the past few Novembers doing NaNo because I haven't felt like I've had to. And knowing I don't have to, I've been writing so much more. Funny how that works.

It is funny how that works. I was all over it until last week. My numbers were fantastic. Then I did a Becca Syme workshop and my brain got overloaded. In the best way possible, but my word count has been abysmal since. Hoping to fix that this week.

Yeah, the 4 AM thing is a little crazy, but. I don't feel like I have to check email or social media that early, so I get my workout in and the majority of my writing and other high focus tasks done before 9 AM. Once I check email and SM, I get so distractible. Would love to see you at sprints!

omgosh did you make all those?? Those are beautiful!! My hobbies are mostly used to make money. But, I would love to get back to crocheting, arm-knitting a big blanket, ooo, hook rugs. remember those? i had a strawberry shortcake. Maybe bake some more... gosh, painting!! I miss painting and drawing! I used to paint murals for people too.

New to your channel! Good luck on the Rough Draft Challenge. I'm loosely participating in Kate Cavanaugh's 100KQ4 challenge, the Rough Draft Challenge, and S.K. Derbas's Wordy Writer Challenge. I am a project hopper though and basically, I'm counting all writing for Q4 in the 100KQ4 challenge, words for a particular project during Nov for the RD Challenge, and all words in any project in Nov for the WW Challenge. It'll be interesting to see what those charts look like at the end of the year. lol
