Hey man! First of to let u know! Im a small artist, i don’t have a big brand with 20+ people working behind my artist profile! For example big names like Alok, Martin Garrix, Tiesto etc they have 20+ people working behind them helping to clear songs No Joke! Also when big names like that want to clear a songs they get it fixed in 2 seconds! I don’t have that! I do most of the work myself. To clear songs for me takes 6 months-2 years. 90% of the time they decline because they hear my idea, rips it off and send it to bigger names! That have happend many times before. So for me the best way is to release the song. Either it goes good our if it’s taken down…then atleast the few poeple that follows me know when «tiesto» f.exa drops a completly rip of on my version with better wuality ofc since they have 20+ in the team to help him then they know atleast i did it first. So ther is sadly not just «clear the songs first» there is so much more behind here! I could literally write 2 full Word pages. For me even singers/mix/mastring cost etc all this i have to fix before i can clear the song. If they decline i lose up to 1000/2000$. So there a lot of reasons why i just release it before i clear the song. Maybe later it also might be lucky, not in this case but there is some few big artist that love to have ther songs covered that reach out to me later and then clear’s it and let me have the song out! Srry for the bad english, i hope atleast you can understand my point of view somehow! - chris/braaheim
