Buongiorno, perdonatemi ma vorrei chiedervi cortesemente informazioni, circa un'Aurora Optima di cui sono venuto in possesso quasi fortuitamente, per un errore del negoziante nel prodotto venduto online (negoziante onestissimo). È una Optima 997 R, con pennino in oro e la vera identica a quella della Optima in questo video. Tuttavia, nel catalogo Aurora non la trovo menzionata. Qualcuno conosce il nome della specifica versione? È possibile acquistare da Aurora un pennino Flex e sostituire quello di dotazione attuale? Scusandomi per l'invasione nei commenti, ringrazio anticipatamente chi potrà e vorrà darmi le suddette informazioni. Complimenti per il canale, al quale mi sono immediatamente appassionato. 😊

Ma i pezzi per la cartuccia e per l' inchiostro vengono insieme alla penna o sono da prendere a parte?

This is a great review that dispels the confusion about Pilot SF nibs as you go up in size and price. In fact the smaller, cheaper size 5 in 74 is more flexible/delicate then the 742 size 10 is really in between, a bit stiffer, & the 743 size 15 is even more stiff. The 743 SF nib is the best writing pen I find in the market for the price. This nib & also the FA15 (if considering writing normally & not "flexing) are amazing and somewhat comparable experience to my much more expensive Custom Urushi size 30 nib. That nib is the "greatest" but 4x the price. Just very funny though if you are looking for more flexible pens, the cheaper, smaller Pilot nibs are more flexible, like Same with the FA10 to the FA15. Mirrors the same with the SF nibs. I tend to change my Pilot nibs into different pen bodies to optimize. So I take my 743/823 (SF & M) & put them into Asvine v200 pen bodies (they fit fine with standard Asvine feeds/housings) for a much better balance and grip. This provides the best writing experience I find. Then I take my FA15 743 and put into the 823 pen body which provides better flow and balance. It's a shame because pilot nibs are the best but their pen bodies are not the best balanced (cartridge converters) & boring. Hope this helps anyone. Thanks for the review!!!

I have the 146 gold leaf flex version of this pen. It is a terrible pen. Montblanc went to the trouble of making a "flex" nib and then sold it with the terrible standard modern plastic feed. For a $1500 pen, it is an abomination. So disappointing. The only good thing about the pen is that it has increased in value by a lot so it is one of the few pens I just keep & don't write with. No pleasure really compared to any Pilot pen at 1/5 the cost. The 149 flex is a much better pen but even that pen has flaws. Montblanc is a joke and literally only good for ability to keep and resell for a higher price.

In my large collection, this is by far the best writing pen I have. Most unique. Hard to convey the softness without it being a "flex". Just a joy. The only thing better which I have heard is the Namiki Emperor, which I don't have yet.

Thanks for the great review as always. I got this pen but had to return. Had issues with it. In this "genre" of pens, I do find the quality & all around performance of the Pilot nibs cannot be matched. Never had an issue with any of my SF Pilots (743, 742, FA15, FA10, Custom Urushi) they always just work. Can you give your advice on which pens you like the best in this genre? I know you have done great older reviews of all the Pilot SF type nibs. The only one I don't really have yet is the Elabo SEF/SF, custom 74 SF The older videos the auto translate doesn't work as well unfortunately. Can you comment of maybe release an updated video 😂. I believe you recommend the Pilot Elabo SEF as a great pen. Do you suggest spending the extra on the metal vs the resin (I believe you said for balance, but know you put some metal in the resin the balance. Thanks Marco! Or any other suggestions in any brand/nib for this feeling of writing which is really what I enjoy the most. You can assume I am using high quality paper always, & this is for joy of writing (not necessarily for "daily" note taking as I have many pens). Always looking to add to collection of worth it. Really love your videos & your advice. Whenever I am looking for a comparison I am curious about, your channel always seems to have the answer! On another note, one of the best pens I have "created" is the Fountain Pen Revolution EF ultra flex (w/their collab with FNF custom ebonite feed/bock housing) & put into Asvine v200. For $110 total in US, it is the best creation and flex pen I have found for price). If shipping is an issue for you I can always send you one if you need! Thanks again for the content/videos.

Anch'io l'ho presa di recente, solo per il gusto di averla e di ammirarla nella mia collezione, non potevo fare a meno di non averla e sono stato fortunato a trovarla in una gioielleria visto che ormai si trovano con difficoltà.

Sto cercando un viola come quello della bellissimo della Pilot V5... qualcuno si è imbattuto nella stessa ricerca?

Meccanicamente è sicuramente interessante ma non riesco a vedere l'utilità di una penna del genere, anzi, vedo più parti mobili che possono rompersi rispetto ad una normalissima penna a cartuccia...

Saludos Marco, excelente revisión. Mi experiencia con ese tipo de tintas es buena pero son muy susceptibles a temperaturas por encima de 28°C en ambiente. Incluso se "evaporan" estando en un lugar fresco y fuera de la exposición de la luz. Tengo ese mismo set y la tinta Olivine tiende a dejar un poquito de "costra" si se deja mucho tiempo en el convertidor, incluso en su frasco.

Do you think it‘s a real alternative for the Delta Dolce Vita? Or should I go for Deltas midsize modell with a steel nib? I like the fact that Leonardos DNA has a piston for less money.. Would you say the build quality is the same on both pens?

Ciao Marco, è vero che questi inchiostri non offrono variazioni apprezzabili di intensità ma è pur vero che la qualità del colore è davvero cospicua : anche dopo alcuni mesi la scrittura non risulta sbiadita. Per me sono prodotti ottimi. Consiglio di provare l’Azure Noir e l’ Ocean Noir : bellissimi ! Carissimi saluti e auguri per il tuo imminente compleanno

Sono un insegnante di sostegno e trovo quei volumetti straordinari. Non possono mancare. Ti faccio una domanda. Io disegno esclusivamente con la penna a sfera ma se tu dovessi suggerirmi una penna stilografica per disegnare, versatile, con un budget che può arrivare ai 50 euro cosa mi consiglieresti? Da questo video ed altri ho la percezione che impugni la penna in modo da tenere il pennino asimmetrico rispetto al piano del foglio, serve per incrementare la variazione del tratto? È una mia percezione? Un video sulla gestione del pennino e dell’impugnatura per me ci starebbe.

Io sto amando la mia M200 nuova! Però noto che ha uno “sweet spot” abbastanza stretto. Scrive bene ed è morbida e levigata solo se impugnata con un’angolazione precisa. Appena mi discosto inizia ad essere un po’ ruvida, poi smette di scrivere. È più esigente di altre penne più economiche che ho. La mia Sailor Profit Jr per esempio scrive sempre e comunque. Ma la Pelikan ha un fascino tutto suo… è stupenda 🥰
