L video. Ai is not a technology we need when all it does is remixes other people's art and scrables reddit comments to peoples questions

The recruiting behavior of those leaders looks very strange. I thought Zuckerberg, Musk and the like have some technical and science understanding, but it seems also they are desperately just try to jump on the next big thing. All this looks more like a SCAM and not like solid science or business model, just chasing the money of investors.

*"Is the AI bubble popping again?" FTFY This has happened before with artificial intelligence, it just wasn't this big and flashy before. There are hype periods and there are AI winters.
@Synapse.Official22 сағат бұрын
Yes great point. The problem is when reality doesn’t meet the full hyped expectation, it creates a harsher winter. Thanks for watching and adding!

Jesus christ why does this video contain so much bloat, its unbearable. I dont need to know everyones history get to the point.

Ai is taking the big data bubble and trying to give a sense to it. The point that the tech world isn't getting is that there's no point in knowing it all. They already know, customers want simple things and they're shouting what they want, but the finance world turned deaf and it's just guessing. Last 10 years of progress where totally pointless

Guess they'll just have to go back to algorithms that does thing correctly instead of maybe correctly

The mayor problem of conventional fission reactors is their cost... per Kwh they are just not competitive anymore when compared to wind and solar. Fusion COULD change that, but it has a long long way to go. Until that time, every dollar invested into out-dated fission is a dollar not invested in solar / wind / storage.

You can avoid those popping plosive sounds in your audio by moving the microphone slightly off axis and out of your breath channel. You'll sound much better

Real human voice. Been a common misconception. It’s scary that the line between real and AI generated is so thin.

AI is inevitable and even though it looks like a bubble, it's kinda not. AI requires a lot of money and processing power to work, the investiments are high because it is a very expensive tech.

No matter what new thing they are trying to sell, Americans always act predictably like those con men who roamed the frontier of civilization selling miracle remedies for illnesses that most likely would not be cured by what they were selling. America's real deadly disease is a moral one: an unhealthy excess of greed coupled with theatrical self-confidence empowered by the gullibility of the population in the audience.

It was obvious from the start. All it takes is understanding how LLMs work to see the bubble and that they're not worth much. Yes, it can be used in a few cases, at the expense of a tremendous amount of energy, but people are making a fuss out of very little. Time to cool down and come back to one's senses.

The Silicon Valley game is to have an idea, crate some sort of proof of concept, create hype, collect the money and run. If you want to grow an actual business, monetize it, turn a profit, etc, you have not understood the game.

AI doesn't need "middle men companies". These start-ups are trying to set up centralized toll booths. AI (and blockchain) will DESTROY these companies.

This may be off topic, but I can't help but mention that we may be rich in cellphones and computers and mass-produced plastic products (such as food, unfortunately) compared to our ancestors. BUT if you consider basics like a place to live, education, and access to medical care, we Americans are not as well off as our parents, nor our grandparents, nor our great grandparents. Perhaps once you get to great-great grandparents, we might compare well, but I'm not sure about that.

Internet companies didn't just pop. Were killed by interest rates. Alan Greenspan said he will destroy the internet then increased interest rates 8 times.

While it is true the industry is new and 90% of these "ai" companies are just snake oil who will inevitability fail, Nothing in this video describes the collapse of a bubble. These are things you would find in any industry at any given moment, cherry picked. For example, most construction companies collapse after 6 months.

I will never again listen to those AI entrepreneurs who were fanning the flames of AI fear these last couple of years. Their reputations are ruined IMO. They were aware how far AI was from becoming AGI but they continued with the hype which has scared the sh*t out of masses of people. It is so low to play with people’s emotions like that.

The problem with economic growth is that the prices adjust accordingly and you will see little change in your overall spending power. Those at the top will only become outrageous richer. Capitalism would need to be altered, societies priorities shifted away from a consumer economy and into so other form for AI to really help anyone other than corporations gain more money. AI can’t change society if the very system doesn’t change. We are stuck in a cycle of boom and bust because we’ve rigged the system to never truly upgrade itself.. housing markets go up and go down.. but the prices are still rising to a point which leaves no room for first time buyers anymore.. our income is falling behind the level of growth and expansion. You believe governments or politicians would take advice from AI. You really think Ai would choose capitalism?? Probably not, it would see a disproportionate amount of money is at one end and suggest redistribution of wealth to the lower 98%.. probably suggest universal healthcare and free education and less manufacturing and looking at renewable resources , yet greed will keep humanity from ever becoming a better version of it self. This video is so far up its own agenda it can’t see how wrong the conclusion is. People seem to always put everything into the monetize bucket and think about making billions of dollars but don’t really care about society.. AI in its current state is not intelligent.. these models are guessing and not using any real reasoning or logic.. you can program all the possibilities to replicate a mediocre engine that seems emotional or smart or friendly.. but it’s not, it’s just following the instructions in the code.

Artificial Intelligence won't save you if your rulers lack their own intelligence. All the problems in San-Francisco and New York are self inflicted. If they thought that decriminalizing theft was a good idea, no amoun of police bots and face recognition will be able to combat the issue. I am not even American, I don't know why this infuriates me so much. I guess seeing these great cities squander their potential because of idiots is painful to watch.
@mr.lockwood14246 күн бұрын
As much as I hate right wing, I must admit, that at least in US lefties can't be trusted with governance. If they can ruin cities that attract money and brains like San Francisco and New York by their rule, they can't be trusted with anything. They could just do nothing and these cities would prosper. But noooo, they just must f*ck around mess things up. That's what free and infinite money do to a politician. Instead of being grounded and dealing with real problems they strart dicking around.

Garbage in, garbage out. The race for AI is nothing more than modern alchemy trying to turn lead into gold. AI that had tangible use cases has been around for years and will keep getting better, these are almost always for business customers and a small piece of an already effective solution that does not rely on AI. Consumer focused AI is a slieght of hand parlor trick.
