I suffer with the same. Recently I've started experiencing stage 2 'resting pain' which is very intense and painful. It wakes me up out of sleep. I can only stand up and wait till gravity pulls the blood back into my legs. As a diabetic I have drastically changed my diet and am now maintaining an almost normal blood sugar level without Meds. It's the PAD that is discouraging and depressing. Stage 3 is amputation. May God have mercy
