There is a problem with wheelchairs at Southampton. There are 2 dropped curbs, and they put a queue over one of them, so I had to go in with the concierge and not join the normal queue. There is another place, but that is by the exit drop-off area, which is miles away.

We were in 11000 the cruise right before yours! Great room, and yes the balcony was tricky with a wheelchair.

What was the most memorable moment from your first day at Disneyland Paris, and did anything surprise you about the experience compared to other Disney parks you've visited?

Thank you. Great question. My most memorable moment was watching my grandson ride on the Carousel du Lancelot in Fantasyland as it was his first ever ride. The worst thing that surprised me was the amount of smoking in all areas of the park compared to the other parks. You don’t get that in the Asia or USA parks.

We've never cruised with Disney. The ship looks stunning. It's nice to have an empty ship when everyone's off on port. We really enjoyed this. Cheers 🍻

In Liverpool, they were running a minibus from the side of the Dream up to the keyside for the wheelchairs I know not all the wheelchairs used it, as the normal ramp looked nicer the the ramp over a pipe, to the minibus.

Yes you were right but the minibus with the ramp lift broke so the port officials said I had to go over on the big ramps. The port official said they had plans to improve accessibility at the port and the changes should start in 2024. Mick and I are heading back to Liverpool to do the things we did not get chance to do at the end of December.

The only problem I had in the Magic (I reported it as well) if you guessed the wrong lift and you ended up at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, I have a big chair, so I have to get out of the lift backwards, and there is about one wheelchair length the lift and the stairs.

Yes, I should have said that you have to choose your lifts with care in a wheelchair. My wheelchair is quite wide too so you have to be mindful of not being in a crowded lift and turning circles in corridor areas.

The US gets alcohol from all over the world. The people probably purchased it there because it was cheaper, not because they could not get "decent" whiskey in the US. The American bashing is getting old.

@@DisneyJulesmac1965 It is fine. It just that it seems that most people from other Countries have this preconceived notion about Americans and what the US is like. They forget that the US is huge and has many different people from all around the world. The US imports a lot of items from around the world.
