Wait, he just finished this, setting a new national record and nobody cheered him, he just walked by to get some water and then, probably, walked home like if nothing had happened... what a kid!!

Whenever I was about to lap someone I would always say “on your left” when I’m a few strides behind to get the runner to move over most of the time they would. If they wouldn’t move over, then I would just run around them, but then when I cross the finish line I would just stand in lane one just to make that person run around me

The baton was punched out of her hand, probably accidentally, but that’s a sneaky way to win.

This lovely young woman will look back with joy one day, knowing how the LORD has given her what few receive in "this present world." I add my prayer to those who pray the best for her and for all who strive to be their best to show good sportsmanship, wishing the best for all, and not just for the one.

In 1973, a horse named Secretariat won the last race of the Triple Crown at Belmont by over 25 lengths and set a track record that stands to this day. This young lady "lapped" many of her competitors and won by a much larger margin and set a world record. Congratulations seems to be term lacking in scope for such an accomplishment, but it's all there is. I wish she could make millions $$$ doing this.

on the one hand i have to credit the young lady with heart and determination but running on injuries can cause even worse injuries so im a little conflicted in whether to praise her or scold her for stupidity tbh
@SBW866 сағат бұрын
WTF?! Absolutely insane. Outside of the obvious factors of age and strength improvements in his favor, you have to imagine dialing in that form will be huge too. This kid is a beast!
@judsdragon6 сағат бұрын
id like to see a closer view of that or a side view if possible cos that looked like the Washington runner knocked it out of her hand whether accidentally or intentionally u cant tell but they had already made contact b4 and yet the Washington runner stayed very close

Washington should have been disqualified for the contact.
@pauldbeer6 сағат бұрын
Really bad sportsmanship! Really horrible decision by officials as a close look on that contact clearly shows the Blue/white team's runner actually "hitting" the lady in blacks hand, the hand holding the butaan, and thereby dislodging it from her hand! Now, the rules does say a runner has to cross the line with the butaan, but if that then "disqualifies" the team in black, the team in blue/white should be disqualified as well, as it is them (she) causing the leading lady in black to loose her butaan! This is just not how sport should be conducted at all! Really bad USA! ( I'm not from USA, but a sport lover from way across in Africa)

Being the child of a West Indian, I was traumatised whilst watching this yet exhilarated for the coach. He is the exact representation of a Caribbean dad LOL

Sad, but contact happens in 800 so you must hold on. I'd have smiled back at the Penn anchor and said "we're still faster" lol
