i keep thinking the guy doing falsetto is someone in the audience, but also i think it's Flans doing it

it was like a religious experience to see this in person. A duo John & John performance in 2024?! I just stood in awe

I was at the dentist this summer wearing my Mesopotamians shirt and my dentist couldn't believe this was a real song. But his assistant (who I've frequently seen in line at the DC shows) and I swore up and down it was real and we even sang it to him :-)

Do you have a recording of when flans gave the fursuiter a shoutout in the first half of the set? Trying to find it but I can't find anyone that has it

No, I don't! If I see a posting of that somewhere, I'll let you know.

^^same to this other commenter. If you have that one portion of Istanbul where they did the call and response with sounds of silence (hilarious) or that particular performance of darlings of lumberland I’d be super interested!!
@SusieTM22 күн бұрын
I do not have that. I couldn't really see them well enough during Duo Stan /Sounds of Silence (which was so funny). That was spectacular (as was The Darlings of Lumberland, which I did not film last night either).

Hey Susie, thanks for posting all those fantastic videos of TMBG I have a question for you - what’s the song where John linnel starts talking about old 78 records, and “if you try to recreate that sound at home, you’re in for a big disappointment” I’ve searched and can’t find the answer… Thanks again, Dan
