Please elaborate your reasoning? I put music into video's to break up the silence and cover wind noise. If you watch almost any fishing show on TV you will see almost all of them will have some sort of music overlay in them.

Tourists, sitting on the road at Brannigans on a major route where Trucks Travel ! Have a think about what your doing people ! Lived there a long time in the past and a great place to fish but respect where you are. After that fish wash measured all I can hope it was released as that was a Breeding Female at 90cm, However I highly doubt it was ! Anything from 80cm and above should be released as they are in the prime of either being Female Breeders or at the point of Turning from Male to Female. Not very cool people for all the Tourists to view. Take 60's and 70's for a feed as they are more than enough Fillets to feed a Family !!!
@Fishingwithsteve2 ай бұрын
At time of filming the road was closed and no trucks could get through due to the corduroy being flooded, hence why we had to fly in to Karumba by chopper. We Do respect the place, its a great place with some brilliant people. We actually threw back more fish than we kept in the 2 weeks we were there, I am all about sustainable fishing, but your correct, this fish didn't go back, it was slaughtered had its gills cut to bleed out then put on ice. it was delicious fried up with a light breadcrumb mix and a few herbs and spices. However, I don't recall any of the locals throwing back any fish, didn't matter what size they were. They would be doing more damage to the fishery than the 52 Barra i caught for the entire 12 day trip. Plus the Barramundi discovery center is doing an extremely good job at breeding and re-stocking fingerlings into the Norman river. Sooo, that 90cm fish we took that day, probably didn't really do much damage when you think about it..
@stevepierce35092 ай бұрын
@@Fishingwithsteve Sorry mate, I angree with you until the end. Every Breeder contributes over a million eggs/fingerlings! taken out was that amount for next season given there are Pro Barra Netters in that area. You get my understanding !!!!

"Where are we goin'?" "Forward..." 😆 Found a good little spot to play with the pinkies. Good job on the solo catch. At least pinkies give the kids some good practice fish to play with while learning, and you don't have to worry about a humphead dragging the rod (or the kid ) into the drink. Great to see the young fella having so much fun helping dad catch fish. Days like these build strong relationships into the future :)

What i didn't get on camera, was the 100mtrs he went in almost a circle, before he decided the next spot was the pinkie spot, it was almost where we left in the first place. Think i have a new fishing buddy that's for sure. that night i asked if he had a good day and he asked if we could go again next weekend
