Rest well Mark. You’re missed already. Cannot believe you’re gone 😢. Classic times. Fun music. Nothing but innocent fun. Natural fun. What guys don’t like the women. We had real fun back then.

I know it’s a while ago now, but 5 years is a bit strong. I knew Simon when he was a kid ( so was I ). To be fair this film does show his best work. Most of his pieces were simply Fista written in stick letters on anything with a surface. It wasn’t artistic and it looked a mess. If he had just stuck to the bigger more skilful pieces, people may have been more tolerant. I do think the punishment was too severe though.

Yeah 2 Live Crew was Bad Ass One of my favorites for Rap My favorite is Move Something I Want Some Pussy 😂 That Was Dope. MIAMI Rappers Was probably my favorite Style of Rap music As Nasty As We Wanna Great Album. I believe that Album made 2 Live Who they Are. Give them Credit They went Through Way too much Drama Give them The Respect They Deserve. I have their first 3 Albums Except for 1 which is their very first Record I have 2 Live is What we Are , Move Something and As Nasty their all good. Awesome Show I'm guessing it's from 1988 That was a great Year for Rap music Awesome Stuff Much Respect 2 Live Crew

I was 16 when this stuff was going on and I agree with the freedom of speech bit they had unique flow and of course people loved their sound because it sounded amazing in a good car system that Florida vibe so I understand why people liked it I liked it also.. That being said I really wasn't feeling the same subject matter and the constant degrading of women over and over. You know it's like alright Luke we get it you and the crew some hole getting M.F's. now keep your funky kinks in your bedroom homie don't keep slapping beats behind them and letting the whole world know. After a while I felt it had a detrimental effect on the guys and girls the constant girls are hoes and all dey good for is subservient to the pleasures of the man and then punt dem hoes to the curb. I understand as adults women do they thing men do they thing and they enjoy it alright. But what about the younger generations constantly hearing and seeing them visuals? I know it's a parents job to make sure they kids ain't bumping this but you and I know how that is.... And that's why I felt it shouldn't be on TV, radio just swinging everywhere you look. I know I'm gonna catch flack for this comment...fuck it I'm just stating my opinion like I said I love they music and the raunchy aspect but I was 16 and had no problem getting the albums and seeing the videos even when my parents tried to do their part. Even at that age I could see the cool side and the detrimental side and I just didn't think it was cool being so horny on every song.

Incredible interview. Big respect to Goldie for expressing his voice so young with no other support in that studio. "go to galleries.." no-one was looking towards youth in urban spaces back in the day to display our work as art. 20years later, almost like fine wine, guess who is laughing now generating international monies from art galleries around the world! Gwwwarn Goldie!!
