Laurence R. Harvey is one of the scariest looking SOBs in the world. He could play so many great villains.

One of the great cinema nerds of our time. Underrated and underappreciated. He's right up there with Poindexter from Revenge of the Nerds.

what happened in your film Laurence had more power then the bombs in Japan WW2 and impacted on a LOT of alterntive realties. If you felt it WE FELT IT.

It's remarkable how nice the people who play psychos in movies are in real life. Gunner and Dan seem like the nicest guys you'd ever meet.

That must have been a grueling part to play. Running blind through the forest at night, carrying a live chainsaw, in the Texas heat and humidity. God. It doesn't get much worse than that. He's lucky he didn't fall on the chainsaw and carve himself up. I've seen chainsaw wounds and they are horrible.
@SubtleAsh-TheImmortal2 жыл бұрын
well. in that case you should rewatch the movie. He does fall over his leg and carves himself up. just saying lol

Yep! If you look at BTS footage, you can see him rev it up before takes. At one point while they were filming him chasing Franklin, he tripped and it flew out of his hands, which must've been terrifying for everyone on set!

@@dominicemelio8274 I have had the chance to meet all of them except Jim Sideow and Paul Partain (they passed before I had the opportunity). They were all really great people. Gunnar was very funny and had a really dry sense of humor and I told Marilyn she was my first crush and she gave me a kiss haha. Ive got a photo of it. She was a sweet woman and Terri McMinn is very sweet as well. Ed is a trip and loves to talk haha. Bill and Allen were very nice but less chatty. Hope all is well

none can compare with how he played the role and how complex and multi layered the character was. The second was just an insane goofball, third, 2003 and beginning were just one dimensional strong brute ogres, fourth was an unintimidating mess, 3D was too stabilized and the leatherface prequel was a handsome, considerate and level headed young man that could never be or even become the character in the original.. not in a million years. Yes I like a few of the sequel guys, but on an entire different level to the original.
