I so need to practice this. It is so difficult when what I am faced with is family members. I am just trying my best to take care of my Dad and my siblings are trying their best to take his last dime. I feel this tremendously heavy weight on my back trying to protect my Dad from how he is being treated. It stresses me out so badly. I just want to lash out at my twin sister for what clearly looks like abuse she is inflicting on my elderly Dad.

I understand. Family issues are particularly difficult to deal with. Be sure to take very very good care of yourself as caring for your dad I am sure takes a lot out of you.

This makes me laugh! Great job! Love Cookie! Love the recipe although not a meat eater, it looks delicious! Maybe we can substitute something like tofu?

Ha-ha-ha! Just what I needed, Laura, you made me laugh out loud! Of course, we can all relate... and I agree: KEEP TRYING! I'm totally into the mindset of failing forward - because that's the gear you need to shift into to learn from your mistakes. Well done! :)

Thanks Debbie! Failing forward is a secret sauce to winning. Navy SEALs don't even know what the word "quit" means. And neither do strong women from ME. :)

Nice story and inspiring points, and bold acknowledgment of personal past issues. Greatly like your delivery language style. I agree it is so easy to feel sad as you mentioned on 15:11 . Thanks for sharing. Would you mind giving an interview with a comedy group?

What is the recipe?
@lauraeimancoaching4 жыл бұрын
" Laura's Banana Bombs" (predicted to taste like cement, but didn't!) Mix together: 1.5 cups Spelt flour. 2 tsp. ground cinnamon, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. grated nutmeg,1/2 c, chopped walnuts, 1/2 c. raisins. In a 2nd bowl mix together: 1 stick grass fed butter, melted. 3 eggs, 2-3 mashed super ripe bananas, 2 tsp. vanilla extract. Blend the two bowls of ingredients and mix well. Bake in cupcake tins for 25-30 min at 350°. ENJOY!

Thank you, I look forward to trying this delish recipe out! I tend to use oat flour and stay away from regular flour because it’s not good.

What about stevia?
@lauraeimancoaching4 жыл бұрын
Great question. The point of this journey for you is to remove all sweets from your diet for 5 days. I wish to have you give your brain, your body and your belief system a break from all sweets. The brain does't know the difference between cane sugar - honey - stevia. It gets lit up. Your taste buds get lit up and most people want more. With Stevia or any sweeteners in your diet, your mindset and taste buds can never begin to enjoy the sheer glory of how delicious an organic apple is, or a ripe avocado with sea salt is. Your brain and tastebuds can't compete with a sweetener like Stevia that is reported to be 200 x than sugar in the same concentration.
