I'm a Scunthorpe United supporter of over 60 years and I thought that Newcastle Town played very well. They went forward with purpose and no little skill, and had numerous chances throughout the game. We had to do some resolute defending, and our young goalkeeper made some smart saves. Thanks also to the very kind Newcastle Town supporter who gave a lift to me and my friends back to the coach last Saturday when we were toiling up the hill. I have a bad back and knees, and of my friends, one has had both hips replaced and the other has lost a leg and uses crutches. A proper human being!
