It's hard to rank best singers. In my mind , Joan is in the conversation of any top 10. Where I believe that she is hands down the best,is her ability to sing songs from different genres. Her eork with the Grateful Dead was amazing..Her own mysic is so different from the songs that she covers. Love Relush, Crazy Baby, What Becomes of the Broken Hearted, Sarah Smile, Feel My Love, Midnight Train to Georgia. Her concerts on Long Island (Stephen's Talk House), Rochester. I could go on. Didn't even mention her early work when she sang on alk the late night talk show. I am a Springsteen, Jackson Brown fan who is just blown away by Joan Osborne's music. Hope that Joan gets recognized and is fairly compensated for the joy she has provided to her audience. Appreciate Joan and the wonderful people who have posted herformances on KZbin. Thank you.
