I love doing old signs also, and after watching your videos, I’m inspired and more educated in how to do them easier on a larger scale!! You are a true artist who captures the idea of old rustic signs!! I look forward to seeing more videos from you in the future!

I used the transmission from the mower (H type shift pattern) and put a much smaller pulley on the transmission for speed than the mower had. The clutch has a swing arm that loosens the belt when you press it with your foot.

The angled crossbars are bizarre, and are sub-optimal at keeping a stretcher square.
