I actually respect more Goulding than Malmsteen now...the latter has literally fossilized for the last millennias, he never developed any taste, and didn't learn anything for 30 years

He doesn't have to change his approach, his style has made him one of the GOATS. Yes.. Yngwie likes Harmonic Minor, Phrygian, Diminished and pedal notes because that's his thing, that's his style. His main influence technique wise comes from the violin, he likes that sound, that's why he plays the way he plays. There's nothing wrong with that. Just for the record... Clapton, B.B King, EVH etc... have also played the same licks for 50 years and there is nothing wrong with that. It all comes down to what you like to listen to. Yngwie has left his mark on the guitar world and no one can take it away from him, he's an amazing player that has inspired millions of guitarists around the world. There is something to be said of that.

that 6 times repeated climax sounds terrible.....it's the same 'solo' he played hundreds of times. Ugly, tasteless and awful music, and the irony is that he supposedly listened to Bach and Paganini. Ha ha
