It depends on the mission, if I need to stay undercover something like 2 will be good, but if I need to attack fast, the 4 is obviously the best

The best SUVs to armor are like this with vertically hinged rear hatches that open out to one side instead of up. These don't need another armored door in the cargo area.

Beautiful build!!! Only very knowledgeable people would be able to tell this is armored from looking at it outside. The windshield is very well done & looks almost stock, unlike some other companies'. The rear glass is wonderfully designed & still has non-transparent material behind the large head restraints. The trim & overlap on the door edges looks like it belongs in a luxury car. A pickup is the best choice to armor if you only need 4 or 5 seats. Many civilian models have heavy duty bumpers & brush guards that would look natural, but have a much different function for escaping danger. Extra bumper lighting could be used front & rear to blind bad actors and as a redundancy if the stock lights are damaged. The bed can also be armored for more protection wnen outside of it & to carry a wide array of "speciality items" to fight back if necessary. The Ford F-450 & Ram 4500 have dual rear wheels and a wider front axle that provide more stability & a much smaller turning circle.
