We had the identical 4 blade 12ft Votex topper. We ran it behind an IH 674 and if you were going through a thick bunch of thistles you had to slow right down or the engine would bog down. We traded the (Rather troublesome) IH in for a 78hp Renault 781s and that tractor didn't even know it was spinning it, no matter how thick the weeds were 😮

it's running too lean, adjust the carb needle valve CCW and it should increase the fuel flow to get it run right

@nate1294 the john deere patents were bought from hesston, they are basically the same baler. I talked to a dealer and I asked him about hesston baler and he said that john deere bought the patents from hesston so.... nice hesston baler lol

So how would you rate it's working condition? We're currently looking for a decent used round baler and I spotted an ad for one like this, but it's not a very common machine in my country. The ad says it's in a working condition, but the straps need changing. We can't afford buying a new round baler. Could this machine do it's work when it would be necessary to press some 500 hay balls a year? How tricky is it to fix it up?
