im 75% on flagg and 25% out i like his iq, intangibles, and finesse at the young age so with that i have him and ace tied for #1 pick that 25% is him killing at USA camp against Top 15 players and he not looking as efficient against the college level but also him being young when he catches his stride back he’ll look like the pick we expecting
@ryanantonellis133514 сағат бұрын
He’s the only #1 player in recent memory who doesn’t have highlight videos but instead full game videos. So you see his misses and makes. Somebody make this guy a highlight video to shut the haters up. We never watch kobe or lebron highlights and watch their misses too. We watch their makes only
@melomanace34158 сағат бұрын
No. This isn't a "highlight tape." Those are for people who use the word "haters" regularly. These are for people who aren't able to catch games and want a clearer picture of prospects.

I don't see the aau game, just lack of refinement, especially as a ball-handler/playmaker. He was actually extremely well coached at montverde.

NBA all defense (no weakness, good at everything). But suspect shooting, particularly from distance. Otherwise decent all around offensive skill. No super strengths offensively, distance shooting is a weakness. Still 1st overall because of overwhelming defense and intangibles (youngest player already taking on super sized role, handling double teams and multiple coverages).
@esonthomas3512Күн бұрын
Agreed but most nba teams will tell you that you can teach shooting. His stroke is good enough where he will easily hit 40% from 3 by 21/22 yrs of age. It’s the things you mentioned he does that sets him apart from other guys. He truly can do it all. To your point, when his shaky shot isn’t falling he is still able to impact the game in a massive way by doing all the right things. I can’t wait to see how Flagg looks come march. He’s so young that I feel he will make a bigger jump by the end of this season than most players before him. We shall see! Go Duke

Yall bugging calling him overhyped. He for sure has a lot to work on in terms of polishing his game for the next level, and it's undeniable that his shot selection often leaves room to be desired. But how often do you see a 6'10 wing with his speed, athleticism, rim protection, and shot making ability? His intangibles and talent are insane, and he's already dominating college with that alone. Once he cleans his game up, improves his shot selection, and locks in on defense, he's going to be a special player in the league.

@@ReavesCarushow I think he's only talent is heroball and that to me is probably the worst gameplay a player can have, when i see him being hyped up i just feel it's very unfair for actual proper players

@@tops2934he simply has things that you cannot teach. It’s only been 2 games so far, and it’s not like he’s just chucking all game. Small sample size but if my guy is giving me 20 8 on 56 percent from the field as an 18 year old, I’m ok if he’s not a primary or even secondary playmaker. His role is to score in which he does at every level and play defense which he’s underrated at imo. If we want a larger sample size, in HS he averaged 3-4 assists a game, but not everyone has to be a great playmaker to be a great player. With that being said, let’s not act like he can’t become a better passer/playmaker, he’s 18 and with his combination of skills you can almost guarantee that it’s a skill he will develop with good coaching. We haven’t seen a player with his combination of skill and athleticism in a while, while Brandon miller is a decent comparison he isn’t quite as athletic as this kid and I personally don’t think he had quite the shot creation ability as ace either at this stage but that’s just opinion. I do understand where you’re coming from though, I’d prefer he was a better playmaker too but I think his talent outweighs his flaws by large margin
