So if you parry with Sephiroth successfully, and then press counter. It stores that into your Limit Break….?

Yes, that is correct! For example, during the Ogre Raider fight, you can see how quickly Sephiroth gains limit break meter after the 4-hit combo, and hitting back with a Counter.

bro good video!! I don't know if you knew this but I'll leave you a little trick. With Sephiroth, if you press the attack and dodge button at the same time many times, Sephiroth will dodge much faster, greetings!

I'm going to try this out. I prefer to hack-and-slash methods more than constantly focusing generating on atb's for magic attacks. Just let me chop up the enemy. In the builds I was using for it, however, I kept missing my block timing and getting wrecked, so had no choice but to use Cloud like a mage.

Blocking/parrying actually comes from the accessory, Moon of Mahaa Kalaa. You push the analog stick forward before an attack lands on Bayo/Jeanne. In addition, there is a hidden feature called the Perfect Parry, where if you push the analog stick forward within the first few frames of damage, you'll perform a counterattack, which restores Magic Orbs and Health (not in NSIC difficulty though).

the way you use moon of maha-kalaa is amazing, especially that it isn't easy to know the direction of some attacks of the game, care to make a tutorial on that?

Hi there, thanks for the compliment! Unfortunately, it's been a while since I've played Bayo, but essentially, everything you need to know is written on the item description. You'll just need to practice the timing of the "perfect" parry. The normal parry has a larger window though. Good luck!

@@komhoy aha, perfect, yes i do know how to use it, but some attacks like the kinship rockets are hard to determine the direction in order to block, not to mention being able to doge 5+ rockets one after the other like you did, either way great skills :D
