Great Video... I've been using Lightburn for a while but still got something out of it... I was wondering if you could help me with a slight problem I started encountering... Lets say I'm scoring a square with beveled edges... It slows down on the turns and scores correctly but out of the turns it speeds up fast and scores very light... just started happening a few weeks ago. 80 watt laser, 150/15 speeds. any ideas?

Just a suggestion but it would be nice if you enabled comments on the videos. I’m shocked this one has them enabled so I’ll ask my question here. Can you upgrade the laser in the Bolt series? If I purchase a normal bolt can I eventually upgrade to the Bolt Plus/Pro lasers or do I need to buy an entire new machine? Thanks.

I got a new adapter and now it wont work. Even after going through all the steps again. But if I plug in my old one it works again.

Sorry, you make a great laser, but if this RF model is the same power at a 60W "glass" CO2, then it wouldn't struggle so much cutting wood approaching 1/4" wood. The speed suffers greatly with wood that is 1/4", so much so, that I've seen a 40W Diode laser go through way thicker than 1/4" in one pass and faster. We are not talking about clear acrylic and diodes, I'm talking about wood.

I found out in windows 7 I needed to update the UVC drivers and then it worked great! Hope it helps someone else! I use windows 7 because I run a cnc off the same computer

The very nice thumb drive that is essential to operating my Nova is blank, and they refuse to send me one that has the files on it 😡).
