You know, that’s when late night was fun. The guests don’t leave and it’s a party.

As someone living with MS you will never convince me this "fall" of Teri's was not an episode.

I am a Canadian man. This young woman absolutely crushed Msrtin Short, Michael Keaton and John. Who can do that anymore? She can. We need more of these women. What a sweetheart --- wth brains beyond.

Michael Keaton, Martin Short...AND Teri Garr...what a powerhouse comedy "bench" it was on Carson that evening. Remember it well, from back when I could stay up that late into the night.

God, how I miss Teri and Johnny! Many people always assume that when one great dies, another will step into the breech. But it t'ain't so. I could write a long list of irreplaceables, two of whom are on the screen above.

I liked Teri Garr in the Ghostbusters music video. Sexy voice Sexy lady back in the day.

She went toe to toe with 3 men right there at a time they could say every sexist thing they wanted. She didn't get insulted screaming me too, but traded back and forth, answered the nonsense, and moved on. Super lady.

Watching her in this clip I think they picked the absolutely perfect person to play Pheobe Buffay's mom for FRIENDS....

Wonder if that was the start of her MS.

In hindsight… notice Teri isn’t using her right hand. Perhaps the injury was tied to her MS - the fall may have really occurred, or maybe she was trying to mask her limp. She went through so much to keep her illness a secret.

I'm gonna miss her...she was hilarious just being herself. I first noticed her playing a female cop in the TV series McCloud with Dennis Weaver back in 1971. or so. she was a dancer first, her parents were actors etc. She started out "go-go" dancing including Pajama Party (a beach party film), the T.A.M.I. Show, Shivaree, Hullabaloo, Movin' with Nancy, Shindig! and danced in nine Elvis Presley features. Wow past talk shows seemed a lot more fun and engaging. She was obviously a beauty. How could anyone not have a crush on her?

I never saw this episode of Carson until tonight. Terri was just hilarious and so beautiful. When she spoke about falling down her stairs I wonder if this was the start of her MS. She was finally diagnosed with it in 1999. She will be greatly missed and may she rest in peace.
