@@ninjatavv I think so. Also they self monitor eating, so I leave two dishes of food out and just keep them full. She eats a bite when she needs it.

Interesting! I've seen days like this, weather-wise, where nothing was called for, but that it would rain...or snow. On October 10th, 1979, we had a storm system,vrhat developed on a Cold Front, that had crossed our area (Staunton, Virginia), earlier in the week. That Storm System's Genesis was out over Georgia, and it grew rapidly! At the same time, a large area of High Pressure was sitting over the Great Lakes Region, and it was an abnormally strong area of High Pressure. It was a Cold-Core Canadian High Pressure area, and it had plenty of Cold Air within it's structure. As a result, when that new area of Low Pressure developed, it began to intensify rapidly, and it sucked some of that cold, Canadian air into itself. By the next morning, that Low Pressure Area had become so strong and intense, that something happened, rhat I'd never seen before. (I was 17, at the time). It took our air temperature all the way down to 32°, and, while it had been raining beforehand, around 4:00 A. M., the rain rapidly changed over to a very heavy wet snow! It literally accumulated at the rate of 2-3 unches per hour, and, in just a period of a few hours, we'd received 9-10 inches of snow! This Snowstorm is easily the most powerful Snowstorm, for something of it's size, that I'd ever seen, and it caught EVERYONE where I live, off-guard! Even Weather Dorecasters here were completely shocked by what they'd seen! A lot of the leaves were still on the branches, and, as a result, with all that weight on the limbs of the trees, because of the heavy wet snow on them, a lot of trees were damaged during the Snowstorm! We had, as I recall, quite a few tree branches that were snapped off! One person up here, upon witnessing this scene, thought that it was "The end of the World!" Thankfully, though, it wasn't. Within a few days, all of the snow had melted.....& that's the end of that story!
