Just watched this video, but the knife set up looks a lot like what NH was doing in 2005 models. I fought a 530 JD every time I went to the field, but the NH was a breeze to run. Just saying

That's power sync transmission according to john deere. In the older tractors the hi and low was a left a right shift like a quad range. But a quad range is a 4x4, not a 4x6. But the older ones had 6 gears instead of 3 and they had no hi and low shifter. You'd power shift to from first to 2nd, then clutch to 3rd, power shift to 4th, clutch to 5th and power shift to 6th. We just bought one 2 years ago. We have trouble shifting the numbers while moving.
