What a fantastic idea for an event!! I still have all my old display stuff and would love to see it go to someone who would need them/use them instead of collecting dust in my garage. Also really enjoyed the 'week in the life' style video! oh! i believe the egg photo case is from velvet_kt

That's a bummer that the event was so slow! I was at this event in the artist alley and things went well for me. I did talk to quite a few other vendors (artist alley, makers market and exhibitors) and overall, most people said the event was slow. A vendor friend who has retail experience said the beginning of September is usually slow for the retail industry. Since RCCC moved the show to earlier in the month (last year it was later in September), maybe that is one of the main reasons why it was slow for so many. I hope your next con makes up for this slow event. 🙌

When you fly, how do you bring the grid panels with you? Do they actually fit in your suitcase? They look massive even when folded down!

They do not fit in a suitcase. I check in the grid panels as their own luggage.

I actually had one of my most successful Saturday's ever at a con. I was in the pride alley in a really good spot at the front though so I think that helped. I also sell sapphic comics so I wonder if the crowd was more into that?

I'm so sorry to hear the show was slow, especially for such a well-known con. But your booth looked amazing! I love how you adjusted the display each day to make sure everything was seen (that's definitely a mood). Props to you and your mom for doing everything you could to make the best of it. This was my first time attending RCCC and my first artist alley ever! So because of that I really have nothing to compare it too haha, but I definitely agree that the staff was awesome and honestly I had so many great interactions with people and other fellow vendors! I feel like for a AA newbie it was overall a positive experience, but I'm sorry it was slow for you 😓🤍

This was our first RCCC and we’re not sure if we’ll be returning! Friday was shockingly bad and we barely made table by the end of Sunday. It’s such a bummer because it was so well organized overall! I’m really not sure what they can do to improve attendance and getting people to spend money.

rose hasnt been the same since covid. the area is a shitshow now, where it used to be a very busy business area with a lot of people just walking around. id sit the show out a few years.

I have absolutely no idea why it was so bad this year. I have been told a few theories but it really was odd and most people I know said it was their worst. It made people feel horrible about their art. I did about half as well as I hoped for :( disappointing because I spent a long time preparing.

10:24 I found myself when it opened. I was the one in the yellow T-shirt 😂. Probably looking pissed which I sort of was. I was so pissed at some of the convention center staff for being rude in regards to the water bottle/canteen situation. I was asking for a simple clarification and one of the male convention center staff was so rude as if I was challenging him, when no, I was making sure I understood that I couldn't even bring in my own water canteen empty to fill it up inside. I travel enough and even the airport lets you bring in our empty water canteen once you're past TSA, so it was so odd to not be able to bring in an empty canteen.

Wow, being able to set up the day before AND for multiple hours on the day of sounds like a dream to me! Where I live, conventions usually only give people artist alleys only 1, sometimes 2 hours to set up their table before the doors open for the public... it's always such a stressful crunch, especially when you're alone, it's the worst part of the whole thing to me tbh. Packing up in 1 or 2 hours is pretty OK, but I would give anything for just a couple more hours of set-up time on the day of

It's definitely a perk of being in the Dealer's Hall and not in Artist Alley. Not all cons give Artist Alley time the day before to set up but almost all conventions give their Dealer's more time.

I am mad at myself, I was within sight of your booth all weekend like "Oh I need to go over at some point and get some tricolor corgis," never ended up able to get over there since my breaks from the booth were weird, and now I see you actually had chicken stuff! Any time I did go venture out I was looking for chickens and hardly found anything :( Next time I spot you at a show I'm making a beeline I feel like I committed a crime not snagging the chook designs

It was nice meeting you this year!! Last year I stumbled upon your channel while looking at Otakon vlogs and I missed out on your booth last year because it was so packed in the Dealers Hall so I couldn't actually take the time to grasp all the vendors and small businesses. I knew once I saw your vlog last year and all the amazing Corgi merch I needed to get some Sploot merch from you this year. Choosing the stickers was very difficult because they all look so cool and pretty 😅 hope to see you back next year 🤞

I’ve never had more fun spending so much money on stickers and beach towels 😂 This is Pixel’s dad! Absolutely loved your booth and everything in it. We don’t get a ton of time to hit up the Dealers space but I am very glad we were able to run by yours. It was great talking with you and hopefully there’s even more great Corgi themed merch next year 🙏🏻

Defs don't think there isn't a place for traditional art in the alley!! I remember back in my middle school/high school days seeing a lot of traditional artists in my local convention's artist alley!
