cost usually determines who gets the job ,.. after the tree is down these tongans take the wood and carve tikis and sell them at hotels and from what ive heard make as much even more sometimes than the job that they did removing the tree!!

@mauipalmandtreecare they still get choke work and all most all the coconut palms is dominated by tongans on maui its funny cause at the end of the day an arborist certificate wont give u the balls to climb and cut some of the trees these guys take care of ,but it would never hurt to continue improving your skills.. theres always going to be men out there who work to provide for their families and do what others dont want to do its up to the home owner who made the choice

soooooo unprofessional. we never just let branches drop if there are trees and plants below that will get crushed. further more, he had no helmet, eye protection. im soo sorry you hired these guys and they damaged all your plants below. did they also top your poor mango tree? topping is one of the most un professional pruning methods period. its un acceptable. no wonder why the tongans have such a hard time becoming certified arborists.
