What is the cost of the job that looks like a good full days work!?
@gaz335920 күн бұрын
At the time of doing this I think but don't quote me where I work charged around £900 parts labour air-conditioning regass.
@warwickfalconer944720 күн бұрын
@ that’s ridiculous that is I’m getting rid of the car new year too many issues with leaks mate.
@gaz335920 күн бұрын
@warwickfalconer9447 how is it ridiculous? Place i work at isn't a back street garage ,our current labour rate is £80 and hour ,find out what Ford charge! Current inflation and just the sheer cost to open the doors, the lack of mechanics now doing this job due to poor renumeration and no young lads coming into it is seeing the wages go up to keep the current ones from wrapping and in Working in a supermarket for near same money .cost of parts and materials shot up after 2020 ,a day's labour plus parts plus air-conditioning regas plus coolant and any other associated bits needed for the job. An mot is going to cost £100 in the not so near future the way it's going. !
@warwickfalconer944720 күн бұрын
@ I mean the amount of work to change it mate just the inconvenience of something like a leaking pipe. My focus has had pipes done new expansion tank leaks in the boot and all sorts only had it a year.
@gaz335919 күн бұрын
@warwickfalconer9447 got you, yes unfortunately as car progress they get worse well i say progress going backwards in my eyes. Should see what's involved to change a wet belt on one of these things....

Proud owner of an ebike myself 🙂 Has made me go out biking lots more instead of driving to f.ex work and not been drenched in sweat, but able to be drenched when riding home. People also forget the motor does not help you over a set speed (25km/t) and my average speed is 30km/t 😛 It helps me get up to speed and up hills, but from there its all me 🙂 Average watts from me is about 250-300w.

I thought the same about an e bike, until I rode one. Now instead of being dog tired after a 6-10 mile ride, I’m dog tired after a 22 mile ride. It does not take away the exercise, it just allows you to work yourself for much longer.
@gaz33594 ай бұрын
@haydenewing4542 totally agree, I have my reasons mainly a ruined knee, after borrowing a mates ebike I was sold,10-15 miles on my old analogue hardtail or double on my ebike minimum before pain arises .no brainer for me.....but it's just cheating according to the analogue experts....🎣
@fugia34444 ай бұрын
I bought my first ebike recently, its about the same exercise expect you go uphill 25km/h instead of 5km/h, plus you can go offroad, i went off trail in the forest up the hill between trees and it wouldnt be possible with regular bike. So you can do longer trips without drinking all your water after 20mins😂

A hatred of E bikes is often a form of pure jealousy.
@plmn934 ай бұрын
More often it's because they are a nuisance on the trails. They are great for what is shown in this video. The problem is when people who have no business being on a mountain bike to begin with are using them to go 20 MPH on singletrack. Biking used to be kind of self-regulating in that way. You needed to be fit and know how to handle a bike to go fast and get to places which meant you were experienced. That's no longer the case.
@imnotallergic4 ай бұрын
well im sometimes jealous but i don't hate them
@DoubleYouRandyBe4 ай бұрын
Why should you be jealous of e-bikers? That makes no sense. I think it's more the other way around, that an e-biker is jealous of normal bikers because they don't have the fitness to reach a mountain under their own power. I basically don't care. I see it in my region. Thanks to e-bikes, I can also feel the benefits as a normal biker. Much more is being invested in the infrastructure. Mountain restaurants are flourishing again as there are many more customers than before. Nevertheless, I sometimes have to smile when I see slightly overweight housewives who are on the road with 6000 dollar e-bikes but prefer to take the road rather than the forest path on the downhill :)

FORD must really despise it's customers to place this heater core all locked up under the dash in that dang black box. They knew and were hoping to make a lot of money off of customers who have to pay hundreds of dollars to have this fixed. It down right ridiculous having to remove so much crap just to get to and replace the heater core.

How to remove the HEATER MATRIX RADIATOR TRIM?
@maxbuckley9762 Жыл бұрын
Also I can confirm the 2s is a nice upgrade but again .. like you said its not worth it really considering how much the rig is worth in the first place These things seem to be best just driven stock form till the electronics just die out pretty much but that's not to say you cannot upgrade then what so ever The FTX power upgrade is a massive rip off tho considering it costs nearly £50 for the kit and adds pretty much no benefit other than the servo being a little bit more responsive where as I grabbed a cheap 20amp off amazon and wltoys k989 600mah 2s lipo ... completely different car with tones of power but likely to blow out one of the diffs eventually given the power gain
@maxbuckley9762 Жыл бұрын
I found if you grab yourself a set of axial shocks you can fit them on but would need to either screw them onto your linkages or custom make ball ends (3d print would do the trick) and they work a tone better than the ftx upgrades ones .. even just swapping out the softer springs gives them a tone of benefit as mine has a load more flex now without rolling over constantly thankfully Due to add some 4mm extension for the axles today too so I'll let you know how it goes

@@gaz3359 Sorry to pester you. :( I have got everything removed, wire harness, bolts, steering column etc. But long bolts keep catching on the bottom tube of the frame, like they are not out fully. I don't want to remove the doors, does undoing the black strap allow you to move the door open enough to clear the holes; I know the bolts stay in.
@gaz33592 жыл бұрын
Yes if. You un do the check strap on the door (black strap) it will give you just enough movement to get the bolts clear of the frame but still in place to get the frame out.
