Things got VERY good at Lesson 5! This reminds me of the time a new minister tore me apart in a room privately. Didnt want to see my face in the worship room at all when I was helping some younger children learn their singing parts. I didnt go to my senior pastor because I didnt think Id be believed. He called me a tool of the devil. I was devastated. I was really young. I had no witness to this. I hid in a broom closet and prayed. After that I just humbled myself and served food in the kitchen. This person really didnt know my heart. Shortly thereafter for some reason he quit supervising that ministry and I was asked to be the worship leader over all of it. I have struggled with offenses and many hurts and devastations. This message reminded me of one time I responded the way you taught here and got promoted. Im going to do my best to apply this in all areas. It can be so hard!

The guests received by Abraham and visited Lot that is mentioned in Genesis (from the current Torah) were angels. This is also the belief in Judaism and of non-trinitarian Christians. (Al-Quran 11: 71-73) Angel in form of a man informing the coming of a newborn child is consistent with angel Gabriel coming in form of a man announcing to Mary about her future son, Jesus as mentioned in the in the 19th chapter of the Quran. It is also consistent with angel informing Zachariah of the news of his newborn child, John. They said, "O Lot, indeed we are rusul (messengers) of your rabb (lord); [therefore], they will never reach you. So set out with your family during a portion of the night and let not any among you look back - except your wife; indeed, she will be struck by that which strikes them. Indeed, their appointment is [for] the morning. Is not the morning near?" (Al-Quran 11: 81) The guests identified themselves to Lot as messengers. [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" (Al-Quran 15: 57-60) Abraham referred to them as messengers. Nor could he order you to take the angels and prophets as arbaban (lords). Would he order you to disbelief after you had been Muslims? (Al-Quran 3: 80) Allah - there is no ilah (deity/god) except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. He has sent down upon you, the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Injil. Before, as guidance for the people And He revealed the Criterion (Qur'an). Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah will have a severe punishment, and Allah is exalted in Might, the Owner of Retribution. (Al-Quran 3: 2-4) The original Torah was revealed to Moses and the original Injil was revealed to Jesus. The word Injil is closer in pronouciation with the word Gospel in other languages. The Quran is the most recent Revelation and is the Criterion over the current Bibles. O People of the Scripture, there has come to you Our Messenger to make clear to you [the religion] after a period [of suspension] of messengers, lest you say, "There came not to us any bringer of good tidings or a warner." But there has come to you a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And Allah is over all things competent. (Al-Quran translation 5: 19)

What an immense blessing this teaching is, John. Thank God He showed you this vital insight. It's helping my wife and me so much.
