The surface of the island is very low above sea level, so it will probably not survive more than one generation.

They should have let us hear the natural sounds too, like the breeze through the palm trees, not just music.

Looks gorgeous but what is the situation with regard to utilities like fresh water, power and communication? Is this property essentially off-grid? Also, what is the highest point on the island? Rising sea level will be a concern for islands like this in the near future.

I was lucky enuff to go to BoraBora ( via club med). Back then( im not sure about now) you could have day excursions to a motu island on a day trip. They would row u out in the a m, set u up with lunch😊 n beach chairs, hammock, towels etc, n come back for you in 6 hrs. Soo cool. The color of the water is out of this world!! Friendly people, no tipping allowed.( its an insult). The native Tahitian women r unusually shapely and gorgeous. ( soo jealous lol)The fellas are handsome n buff. BoraBora has black sand beaches that u have to take a helicopter ride to get to. The sand is soft as silk. That was going back a few yrs but its getting so built up. It will always be beautiful but now ( from what i see in pictures) there are more over h2O cabins etc n it takes away from the beauty of the water.( my opinion)

This is a joke. Whoever you sold it to constantly leaves a big pile of garbage outside that attracts our bears. And now there's a trap set by BCCOS. Zero respect for our wildlife.

The actor David Janssen commissioned Edward Giddings to build this back in the mid 70's. It's sad that Janssen died so young - at 48, a couple of years before it was finished. A beautiful home.

On the beach in the tropics IT NEVER STOPS BLOWING STRONG WIND, just saying. Motu Tane high tide, the water is shallow, at low tide there is no water. No coral, so no snorkeling. This island would be realistically priced at 300K and even that is expensive. But good luck with the 30 mill👍

I suppose the 2700 people on the planet that could own that island don't concern themselves with things like systems, but I'm curious about how it gets its power, water and sewar systems. I didn't see any large solar arrays or wind turbines, so I'm assuming its powered by diesel generators?

There is no such thing as paradise, mosquitoes and a lot of flies. If you think that’s paradise been in Hawaii for 20 years and I don’t even know what that means. Do you know how much it would cost to just take down those coconuts out of those trees. I think every four months it has to be done. You’re looking at a very expensive process. It’s gonna cost a lot of money every year, but if you can afford to buy the island, then you can afford to pay for the coconuts.

When the waters rise due to global warming prices will plummet. Buy when the islands are 1/10 this rate. Singularity will reverse global warming and you will make bank.

I used to deal with Donald Abbey, the developer of this property......He ran all the utilities under water to the island. He originally listed it at 72 million. He also had a 70 million mansion in Bradbury Ca which sold for 22 million and took fouir years to build
