This is exactly kzbin.infoUgkxUHHotQRjIQnfuxEeVotlkHVYWH0DXZoS what I needed to get some exercise while I'm stuck at my desk all day. It's just the right size. Only downsides are that the right oeddale unscrews itself while I use it and increasing the tension causes it to squeak while in use. Both are minor issues that aren't that important to me. So I give it 5 stars.

Nice project....do the pulleys have v groove? What prevent trolley pulley wheels from being lifted up the rail as you push the load up with your legs?
@竜卷男 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching. Pulleys don't have any groove, only run inside guide rail C-channel. Trolley pulley wheels can not be lifted up anytime with their weight ( including barbell plates ).

Thank you for watching. The pipes of seat and foot rest are same size. Their outside diameter is 25.4mm ( 1.0' ), wall thickness is 1.6mm. And sheathe pipes are 31.8mm ( 1-4/1' ) od, thickness 1.6mm. Thank U.

@竜卷男2 жыл бұрын
The outside diameter of main wheels are 65mm, guide wheels 38mm. Make reference to www.hammer-caster.co.jp/catalog/html5.html#page=361 Main wheels are 429S-NRB φ65 on page 326, guide wheels are 429G-N φ38 on page 324 . Main wheels have ball bearings inside. Guide wheels have no ball or roller, just through holes. Visit my new you tube " Homemade Leg curl & extention Machine "

@andrewstutz42402 жыл бұрын
That looks like .095 wall tube because of the angle most of the weight is coming back it’s more than strong enough and definitely not light duty.
@fifis1012 жыл бұрын
@@andrewstutz4240 well I wouldn't be putting 300kg on it!
@andrewstutz42402 жыл бұрын
It would be interesting to see lol. I had to look closely at that tube if it’s bent 90 to flat and 90 again it would be pretty strong but it’s too hard to see exactly. I would build it out of box tube and have the sled mounted on top then you could weld angle iron down the length of it to hold the sled in place.

Thanks a lot for watching. I had been a civil engineer for fifty years, designed many infrastructures. So structural caluclation is my field. As Joshua remarks, I designed it's maximum load 200kg.
