We kind of are so used to it it isn't fun anymore. It's hard living in Jay County during the tractor and engine show anyway. A lot more traffic and "tourists". We are glad you guys are here to help support local businesses but sometimes it is rough on the locals.

Great stuff! I find it interesting how there must have been nearly 100 manufacturers of these types of engines, but only maybe half a dozen brands show up with any frequency. Deere, Fairbanks Morse, Lister, Witt...are the main ones (and I have certainly left out a few) but there are dozens and dozens of mfrs you only see one or two of. I'd bet most of the little small-farm ones were just run until they blew up and then scrapped during WW2 scrap drives. The bigger oilfield ones were rebuilt a time or two and then scrapped.
