The difference is huge actually. The older version had serious spectral losses and the frequency response was all over the place, whereas this one sounds almost like the studio acapella.

Out of curiosity what software are you using to extract acappellas? I've tried some with fair good results, but this sounds WAY better!

I use Ableton Live as my host. For this one I've used the acapella ripped from DJ Hero as the foundation. Then I phase-cancelled the drums from the extended single version, used AI to extract the vocals, removed reverb (again, using AI), merged the two variants which I had together, recovered some spectral losses in iZotope RX and brought the reverb back. Basically, the acapella was rebuilt from scratch to some extent. For the Ghosts 'n' Stuff acapella similar techniques were used.

Remake sounds amazing, nice work! Your mix and mastering is top notch! But If I may, I'd recommend using Serum for the main pad. I've had so much better luck creating the pluck, pad and drone patch using Serum. Serum sounds almost exactly like if it was being made in Strobe2 (SH101).
