@@tossingplastic My brother-in-law has been able sing two Valkyries and a Buzzz only for the last two years. I turned him on to the Tern Starfire two months ago, and he's in a whole new world. He flies all over the country and some international frequently. He only takes three discs in his suitcase, but tries to play a round or two in each locale. Fun! I'm definitely a local course person. I don't travel much and play the same course multiple times a week. When I get the chance I'll do other courses in my area. I'll even hit the 9 hole courses to. I don't practice outside of playing hardly at all. If I do go on vacation to see family I'll bring a few discs and try to tackle a bunch of their local courses and sometimes bring them along for the ride. Usually every has a good time. Now that course towards the end is so wacky

I am in my 40s DG is my last vestige of athleticism. I do field work during break at work and practice putting while grilling up dinner. At this point, I would say I’m a casual disc golf player, but I am trying to improve my game. DG gives me an opportunity to get outside, which is fantastic, and it definitely offers me some much needed stress relief. I am a solitary player though, and because of that, disc golf doesn’t offer the socializing part that I probably need. I really enjoy playing, and I imagine dg is a sport that I’ll stick with for a long time. Thanks Hunter 💫

Been playing about 10 years and I’m totally addicted to this game. I play twice a week and do field work when necessary. I probably play around 10 tournaments a year, 913 rated, and have way too big of a disc golf collection. I play because I love sports, playing with my friends, the competition, the outdoors, and to get away from everything and just enjoy the outdoors. 🥏

To answer the hole nine question: disc golf is physical and mental therapy for me. I have a basket at home and I pitch and putt for an hour at least 4 days a week and I try to hit one of the many courses around me at least once a week. I like tournaments to get free disc I wouldn’t normally throw and to meet other players and see different styles of play. I keep score but I like the idea of conquering the course and not the other guys I’m playing with.
