I love that Lauf has another offering. I have the True Grit and it is an amazing gravel bike. Is it perfect for everyone? No, it really depends on the riding you like to do and the trails in your area. Also having ridden it in Iceland (Rift) I can understand why they designed it the way they did as it is well suited to their “gravel”. For ripping rough trails it handles like a hard tail with maybe a little more sketch 😂 making it so incredibly fun.

You and Jordan are rippin! You made those bikes look good. That rear triangle is a little funky, but you had me at beefy AND light. I’m also a sucker for versatility. Needless to say, I’m intrigued.

Compliance/compliant and handlebars is the dumbest thing I've heard, similar to using the word cockpit for bikes. Lol, diddlers.

I have a Lauf Uthald road bike. I put 3000 miles on it over the summer. It's the most comfortable smoothest road bike I have ever ridden. It's fast too.

What a Santa Cruz would look like of they continued to develop single pivot bikes (that's a compliment). I like it, looks robust and fun to ride.

Definitely has "wolf ridges mated with vintage Intense" vibes in the look department but it's extremely interesting to look at nonetheless, would love to try one 😊

Looks awesome! Only issue I see is the potential for a lot of shoe rub on that massive swing arm.

sound/music and sight / form is totally subjective but WOW is that ugly . it reminded me of the Seinfeld episode where jerry and Elaine went to see their friends new baby and jumped back as they peered into the bassinet 😱

I don't understand the negativity - the one person (in the video) who is here that rode the bike had nothing but positive things to say. I like that it looks different. No one liked how the True Grit looked when it came out, but believe me, everyone asked about it when I got one. Does everything in the world need to be exactly the same?

I only have a set of hook less , fast-forward drift, carbon gravel, wheels. I have three other bikes and they’re all hooked rims. I have absolutely no issues with the carbon gravel wheels that are hookless , i’ve wasted money experimenting with a different brand of tire. They can barely fit the rim. They can’t even see it and get it on. That’s where I went wrong so I went back to the specialized Pathfinder pros and I can see the bead relatively easy and again I don’t ride this bike every day maybe once a week and there’s no problems

Useless video if you don't know what a 2 stage hub is. And how do you get 16 gears out of a 12-spd cog set?
@winterwatson6437
@winterwatson6437 26 күн бұрын
i think it’s more than fair for a cycling channel to assume basic mechanical knowledge, but a two stage hub is a hub with internal gearing that has two sets of ratios. 16 unique ratios because the top 8 gears with the hub in low have the same effective ratios as the bottom 8 gears with the hub in high

I purchased my first Silca Impero frame pump with my brand new Windsor Pro (Campy Novo Record) in 1979. The shop gave me a replacement leather seal in a plastic bag. The pump never ever stopped working perfectly with the original seal and the replacement sits in my toolbox today. I use the Silca diving bell presta fitting exclusively. Time for some new Silca tools! Great tour!
