I just wanted to leave this comment for those still defending Billy in regards to the Apollo Legend defamation case. Thing you guys need to remember is that Apollo had made several attempts to try and help expose Billy for his blatant cheating. Sadly he hit several brick walls in doing so, one of them being legal threats from Billy, along with other financial and personal problems. Apollo even attempted to file his own lawsuit against him, though that didn’t get very far at all. Then sometime in 2020, he ended up surrendering to Billy by removing all videos related to him from the channel. So please take all of that into account before yelling at Karl for slightly implying that Billy may or may not have indirectly (and unwittingly) contributed a little bit to Apollo’s severe depression.

I really hope Australian law's standard of whether it's defamation or not doesn't hinge on whether or not the video made his reputation worse. That's not how defamation should work at all. As long as the statements are true, nothing said or the results of it being said matter should matter. Defamation is when you harm someone's reputation through untrue statements.

After i watched Karl’s video, my opinion of Billy Mitchel actually improved. Before the video, i thought he was an idiot. And after it, i considered him a devious scumbag.

Imo I personally put a very large share of the blame on Billy Mitchell for the loss of Apollo Legend. The world and KZbin is worse off without Apollo's presence. My heart goes out to his family an hope they are doing alright.

well hounding a person so bad they want to literally die is an actual thing. growing up through school i was teased violently every single day and at the end of school they were dragging me into fights every day. the day i left high school, i was going to end it all. i did not want to live anymore. so i know that feeling quite well. that day my 2 best friends said lets blow this pop stand and we got up and left during class. we never looked back and i've never once had any issues in life because of it. i learned a trade and went into IT. i have 30 years of professional IT on the job experience. I work for a humungous company on an elite team of advanced troubleshooters. anyway, sorry for the rambling, billy mitchell is an oxygen thief. he is a despicable human being. we all need to send him a certified cease and desist letter telling him to immediately stop using oxygen and resources.

If I've learned anything about our government in the last 4 years, it's that only nobodies get taken down by the legal system, but if you're even remotely important nothing will ever really happen, the rules are for poor nobodies, everyone else can do whatever they want and the government won't care how many laws they break.

I've been falling the saga on and off with the past few years. First thing that strikes me is how many people care about a video game that's basically like arguing who created the wooden wheel on a model T. But what I haven't heard yet is where is Billy Mitchell getting all the money to hire lawyers. That gets incredibly expensive. Is it possible that he's hooked up with a quick lawyer that's helping him out doing it pro bono? Anybody have any info on this?
