Accent is different from that of Duolingo? Why? Are there different styles and accents in German? Especially the sound of "r"

In Germany there are different accents depending on the place that you live in. The accent is very strong from the north to the south and even from city to city.

Why read the English when the subtitles are already on the screen?

Because some people need to hear English, some people only listen to these stories and don't read them, and last, some of the people learn English and not German :)
