I've been here before And I don't know where I go Reaching for this door And something tells me I'm alone without you Heading for the floor Turning back unless I'm sure Heading for the floor And something tells me I'm alone without you You take My eternity alone, alone I've been here before And I don't know where I go Reaching for this door And something tells me I'm alone without you Reaching for the floor Turning back unless I'm sure Reaching for this door And something tells me I'm alone without you To believe And I beg to see And I beg to see My eternity alone, alone My eternity, alone And I fail to see My eternity alone, alone And I fail to see My eternity alone, alone My eternity, alone

Great wannabe cure cover band from 88. But Billy never ever think you are the next great leap from Husker DU. This 'CURE' cover band playing some Evanston 18+ plus night proves it! Take your Millions and dead bodies and F- OFF!

Pretty sure this is 1989. It seems to be the same show as the footage of “Snap” that came out on the Pisces Iscariot bonus DVD, which is Avalon nightclub august 1989

Crazy to hear the progression in their sonic capabilities, even in their first year of being a full band.. the 1988 SP sound is vastly different from the 1989 sound and so forth. This band evolved at such an incredible rate.

I really like the 88 sound....wish they went back to that after Melancholy.

this is some serious headbanging :) , but not as heavy as the version on Mashed Potatoes. a little bit of XUY and a little bit of their 2000 cover of "once in a lifetime".

I'm glad that Gish doesn't sound like this,i mean,this song is good but it doesn't fit in the sound of 90's alternative rock,i think Billy realized in time!

the bassline sounds like something from a Cure song
@asonuniq8 жыл бұрын
I thought the same thing. There is something distinctly English about it. It would be right at home in a Cure or Smiths or Joy Division or New Order track.

I was thinking the same thing when I heard the bass. they said they were influenced by the Cure

+asonuniq,The Smiths never sounded like Joy Division or The Cure,they are different,i mean,better!
@blueshirt067 жыл бұрын
The Smith where different but better? that's only an opinion, their some Smiths songs that I like better and then their are some Cure songs that I like better, Joy Division had a very unique sound
@monstergod8887 жыл бұрын

there are better quality sources of this now, just sayin. also, corgan's guitar is inaudible here, which is kinda hilarious.

In the other version though, his singing is really low and D'arcy is almost inaudible Something's up with the way it was recorded but I love this version
