I have been Collecting for 30 years and 8 months. I started April 2nd, 1994. I have built 10 different Earth's, I have approximately 5,600 Total Figures. I have 6 DC Earth's, 3 Marvel Earth's, and a Fantasy Earth. Despite having twice as many DC Earth's I have over twice the number of Marvel Figures. My Marvel Earth's are more complete! My Earth 616 is my most complete Earth and I only have about 12 Holy Grails left.

Love hearing a queer perspective in figure discussions. I’ve been collecting toys since I was a kid, first with toybiz 90’s 5 inchers to the start of marvel legends. As I got older just didn’t have the budget as much but getting back into it now. I was even a fwoosh member back then too, but more of a lurker. I always felt a little out of place also being a queer and on the younger side while on the fwoosh. Just recently moved to Miami for a job, I’m curious if you have suggestions for comic/toy shops in the area?

Marrow has to be my fave from the reveals. I noticed some are complaining she doesnt have the bones sticking out of her forehead but that obviously came later in her run. This is giving me Uncanny 346 Joe Mad vibes! It would never happen but a Callisto with her Joe Mad costume would be sick! I guess I only know Nemesis* from the AOA run because this one I dont recognize at all. All the figures look great (I wish Husk was prettier lol) but I dont think Ill be building Nemesis* unless I find the other figures on sale. Marrow, Husk are going to be pre-ordered. AOA Gambit and Cortez Ill buy if I see out in the wild. Kinda wished they did X-Factor Cyke as a two-pack with red (or green) Jean and instead had given us a human Bobby Drake. Im really meh to the Uncanny X-Force looks (this is after I stopped reading the books) so Ive got no connection to them (even though I like Kurt). I totally read and collected X-Treme X-Men in real time (I was one of those Claremont defenders when New X-Men fans were hating on the the direction of his book) but I really dont remember Wolverine in X-Treme then. Am I crazy?

Well THAT didn't take long! I enjoyed your brief history of Charles losing and regaining the use of his legs. 😂 The unexplained complication of being able to walk when his powers were blocked in S2 of TAS made me think his injury was psychic in nature and tied to his telepathy. It didn't make a lot of sense and I wish the show had explored it more even if in a later episode. It's one of those things I'm a little surprised didn't get "Mandela Effected" into other media like Magneto's helmet. All that is to say, I'm really happy to be getting this version of Xavier. Cortez looks perfect! You always hope they nail it for these long-overdue figures because it's probably the only shot they're going to get. Nice to see the AoA variants still being sprinkled in these lines, even if they can't supported a dedicated wave. Classic looks would be preferred, but I still dig that version of Nemesis. I thought I was looking at Ultimate Wolverine at first; ZERO recollection of him in an X-Treme costume. At least that means Hasbro is aware of the book and its underrated looks. Marrow, wow. No notes. And X-Factor Cyclops?! Shiiiiiiiiit. 🤩

I am loving what I saw today, I want most of what was shown today. I really appreciate your enthusiasm and energy for the product, shame that a lot of people in the comments this morning could not feel that way. Regular depowered Husk looks a lot like Alicia Silverstone. Very excited for this whole wave. But I am with you on wanting a straight AoA Kurt. That Wolverine costume is also inspired by the Ultimate version.

we need more supporting characters please. thunderbolt ross, puppet master, ufoes, frightful four. maybe a marvel legends alter ego. where characters with transformation comes with their civilian counterpart., like the uulk/ banner 2 pack. they already have civilian body mold and could double as civilian army building. curt connors with lizard, ben grimm with thing, betty ross with harpy or updated red she hulk. Rick Jones with a bomb. been collecting since toybiz and ML is my favorite toyline.

I don’t know if there has been any more legitimate sources but so people can know and get excited or show interest. I’ve been hinted at by Hasbro that there are X-men 2099 figures in development. Who knows which ones or when. But as they were my favorite 90’s team/ version I got excited.

Feral, Rachel, and Deathbird all in the same year?? Ahhh you got me too hyped for this! Honestly I hope ALL of it comes to pass. Six-armed black costume Spidey, Gala Miles, and Ultimate Iron Man are the only characters I'm sorta "meh" on, but the rest? Hell yeah. If true, we'd make major headway on some team builds. Generation X, X-Factor, Inhumans, X-Force DONE, and OG Excalibur DONE! As to the great Banshee and Marvel Girl debates, I have to say I'm agnostic on the matter lol. Lean more towards classic Banshee, but while we're building GenX, I won't be mad at all about getting that version first. Red and yellow is my preferred X-Factor Jean (helped by the fact that we already have the corresponding Cyclops), but if the plan is a Scott and Jean 2-pack then might as well kill two birds with one stone and do OG X-Factor for both. Definitely want alternate head sculpts (for like, everyone). I wish Hasbro would do more with this given the cost of a standard figure these days. It's a great way to add value, especially for characters who aren't otherwise accessory-heavy. Marvel vs. Capcom 2-packs makes me think Hasbro is just REALLY committed to redoing everything ToyBiz put out. Can Killspree and Quark be far behind?? 😂😂 Marvel Legends has come such a long way, so I do hope Hasbro retains the license for the foreseeable future. If that's not in the cards, I actually wouldn't mind seeing what Mattel could do with this IP. Definitely don't wanna see it go to McFarlane (I hate their 7'' scale DC Multiverse). Anyway, love the energy and great coverage as always.

The license issue isn't exactly a rumor, this has to do with Elon Musk and his plan to get DD, if this happen Disney isn't gonna want to work with Musk, therefore they gonna need to take ML into the next biggest IP they are working on, and that's Mattel.

It's a shame that the Marvel Legends team wasted so much time, money and sculpting on the movie figures. I'm sure likeness rights for one movie figure is more than the production cost of a comic based wave.🤦🏾‍♂️

They definitely need to re-release Multiple Man. Hasbro could easily put in a 2pck: 90’s X-Factor & Peter David’s X-Factor investigations Jaime Madrox with Multiple heads & expressions for easy army building. Easy solution for Generation X is: 5pack: - Synch -Skin -Penance -Jubilee (simple repaint) -Chamber /w red costume & coat (Previous release was modern) 2pack - Banshee with Goatee -Emma Frost Villains 2pack: -Emplate -Mondo (he was secretly a spy) Easy solution & take my money. Gladiator!? That's awesome! I love the SDCC version they made but the deco end results; didnt look good with the two different shades of blue. They can also choose better body mold (legs Especially) since they've upgraded for new generation of figures.
