Hi Susan, thank you for your tutorial. I notice you have little feet on your screen. Can you explain why? Thanks.

How does one get access to a sandblaster? Do you do this if artists send you the pieces ? That's such a pretty technique.💜💜💜

Should you wear a mask working with these powders? Beautiful work, I'd love to learn more.💜

I was wondering which enamel/paint you were using, and what your firing schedule was. Do you fire all three seperately, then again as one unit? I really enjoyed your video. I subscribed hoping you will have more videos sometime soon. I too was looking for video #4 grin.

Um not to be a know it all but glass paints in the powder form go into the air. Should always with out hesitation being wearing a mask and eye protection. I have been doing this for years and would never do it with out the proper safety equipment. Further, never have any beverages or food in the area when working with these powders as they can be ingested. Not a busy body. Just concerned. When I etch glass with the rotary tool I always wear face and breathing protection too. Glass in the body will not fester. It sits there and grinds away at you internal organs. I want to see people enjoy what they are doing without consequence.

What if you don't have a sandblaster can you etch your glass?

How did you get the tree and birds on the clear glass? Stencil? Did you fuse the two clear glass images together to make the one with tree and birds and then fuse that on top of the sunset after fusing it? Love the sunset effect:)

Wendy Gliddon I believe she did her drawing on the clear glass with Elmer’s white glue and then she pours the black glass the same way she did here the background, that is what’s called “Frit”. I think she fused them together.

Great lesson...how fun is that! Went to your website to buy the enamels, but couldn't connect :(. I would be very grateful for the fusing schedule for this, though.

Thanks for watching our video. The piece I worked on in the video actually sold at a Patio sale in San Diego. It was very similar to the completed one shown on screen. : )

This is beautiful! All we need is a heat gun? We don't need to put it in the Kiln?
@susanhirsch11998 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! You do need to fuse the layers of glass in the kiln. I use a hair dryer to dry the enamels quicker. This video is just one of the steps in the project. I can send you a schedule for firing if you like. I really appreciate your interest, and can answer any questions you might have. Denise 2girlsglass.com
