Y'all crack me up. I appreciate the rawness of the interview. Kinda the feel of hanging with the guys, bench racing, chilling. As a single father, my projects have mostly stalled. awd typhoon clone with a gen 4 5.3 to swap in it, 2wd big block 4 speed 76 Silverado stepside, and a 4 speed 72 Chevelle that needs engine/transmission/suspension rebuild/full interior resto....its a shell. Never really had that many car guy friends, especially after my best friend self deleted. Just kinda lost interest for a while. But im thankful my son is getting into it now that he is old enough. Hopefully at some point i will get back my mojo, for now i just have to live vicariously through y'all.

Any vibrations at higher speeds 75+? I'm asking because I also have a one piece driveshaft with the SML adapters and I get terrible vibrations, I have sent the driveshaft back to the builder which is Full Torque driveshafts and they get the adapters from SML, they checked the driveshaft and it was unbalanced so they balanced it and sent it back to me but it was good for 3 20 minute sessions doing Open track/road racing and on the 4th session the vibration came back again, very frustrating

wish you would of kept the e46 maybe as a daily. that’s honestly the reason i didn’t decide to keep building mine as a drift build, scared of just breaking stuff on the fragile chassis lol

I daily a g20 330i so it wouldn’t have made sense to keep it as a daily. Honestly the e46 was fun and it got me back into drifting after taking a break but it literally overheated every event even after doing a full head refresh and cooling upgrades. So I wasn’t even getting enough seat time. I’m way more comfortable in my Z than I ever was in the e46. I like and think the Z is way better in all aspects in my opinion
