Olive green eyes here. My Mom had light, clear blue eyes & my Dad had dark brown eyes. There were five of us children, my brother had dark brown eyes, as did two of my sisters, one sister with brownish hazel eyes, & one sister with clear, blue eyes.

My father has chameleon type eyes which it changes different colors but don’t understand why. It will be brown, then change to a light brown to greenish color then light blue it’s weird.

I have sectional hetrochromic eyes each iris is exactly half blue and half green. I inherited hetrochromic eyes from my Paternal Grandfather who had one brown eye and one blue eye. My Father had Hazel eyes and my Mother had blue eyes.

At least 80% of the time someone says they have green eyes you look and they are clearly blue, generally light blue, most of the rest have hazel. They are still pretty eyes just not green. Yes green is cool because it's rare but you can't call your blue eyes green and have it be true.

But according to the study of genetics Brown eyes can be Bb or BB which means the gene for brown eyes is represented by the capital B and the lower case b is blue BB eyes are two genes of the dominate Brown eye gene. Bb is one dominate brown eye gene mixed with the blue eye gene which they carry but display the brown eyes but they can have a blue eyed child if they marry a blue eyed person or marry another person who has brown eyes but carries the blue eye gene. So what you said is wrong. You don’t know genetics as well as you think.
