Is the coconut milk thick. Y yeast and self raising flour, both were used . After kneading dough did you allow it to prove. Pls clear my confusion. Tk you

No it's not thick. If you have thick coconut milk, mix it with water. Self rising flour makes it crispy on the outside and the yeast makes it soft. So it becomes crispy and soft at the same time. No you don't prove the dough. Make balls then prove it 1 hr.

My opinion, this is too much water. I would use half to 3/4 of the total water volume. That way you don't need that much sugar. I tried this it turned out to be the wrong recipee to use.
