How does removing fat (something completely different to sugar) cause your insulin spike to be higher than if you were not not remove the fat??? It’s the same amount of lactic regardless, no?

Hey, great question! Removing fat from milk causes a higher insulin spike because fat slows sugar absorption. Skimmed milk, lacking fat, leads to quicker sugar digestion and faster glucose release, resulting in a higher insulin response. The amount of lactose is the same, but the absorption speed differs 😊
