I aint saying parrying is bad but if you able to parry a move that can destroy city blocks and manipulate gravity then wtf💀like i got my barrage parried and my smash attack

Not really towards the video No parrying isn't a skill issue it's a memerisation issue. Someone with perfect infinite memory would find parrying so easy, because most moves are slow enough and obvious enough during startup and completely parryable. That's why it's not really "good" or "fun" or "accurate" or "viable" when applied incorrectly. For example, Look at smash bros ultimate, That is an almost if NOT P E R F E CT implementation of parrying/perfect blocking. It makes YOU invincible instead of STUNNING others like a madman and it isn't TRULY INVINCIBLE EITHER. Like, moves that attack every frame, like a multi hit that attacks every 1-2 frames for the 1-4 seconds it lasts GETS AUTOMATICALLY PARRIED AS LONG AS YOU PARRY THE ONE THTA MAKES CONTACT WITH YOU AND OF COURSE IT DOES BECAUSE LETTING GO OF SHIELD IS LIKE 1-2 FRAMES YOU LITERALLY CANNOT PARRY ATTACKS THAT TICK ACROSS SINGLE FRAMES, SO OF COURSE THATS WHY A MULTI HIT THAT DOESN'T PARRY ACROSS MULTI SINGLE FRAMES DOESN'T GET PARRIED AUTOMATICALLY AND LOOOKS AND CAN BE TELLED THAT IT'S REALLY COOL WHEN YOU PARRY ALL OF IT LIKE LINK'S UP B, WHICH IS A MULTI HIT SPIN ATTACK BUT THERE ARE FRAMES of link SPINNING FROM LEFT TO RIGHT SO IT'S NOT 1 FRAME 1 FRAME HIT HIT IT'S 1 FRAME THEN 2-6 fraMES OF SPINNING THEN THE HIT APPEARS ON THE OTHER SIDE BECAUSE ITS A SPINNING ATTACK THEN COMES BACK AND HITS AGAIN WITHIN SO OVERALL TOTAL 6-12 FRAMES APPROXIMATELY. IF YOU ARE A "PARRY GOD" IN SMASH YOU WILL LIKELY DOMINATE IN EVERYTHINGGGG BUT IT'S NOT TRULY IVNINCIBLE BEcAUSE THINGS LIKE FASTTTT MULTI HITS, PROJECTILES, GRAAAAAAABS ARE NOT PARRYABLE ALSO COUNTERS ARE PARRYABLE BUT YOU WILLL LIKELY RRRRRARELY PARRY counters BECAUSE OF HOW THEY WORK. LITERALLY NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT IT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE YOU INVINCIBLE IT JUST ACTUALLLLLY PARRIES THE MOVE THAT GOT PARRIED SO THAT DOESN'T HIT YOU LIKE A SMASH ATTACK WITH ONE HIT LIKE IN REAAAAAAL LIFEEEEEEEEEE FLIPPING A MARTIAL ARTIST GOING ORAOROAROAROARO WITH PURPOSefULLY LIGHT BUT FAST ATTACKS WILL NOT GET STUNNED FOR 1-3 SECONDS LIKE A STUPID DINGUS IDIOT THAT GOT A CONCUSSION MAGICALLY FROM GETTING HIS HAND BLOCKED AT THE INSTANT HIS HAND cAME WITHIN RANGE OF A NORMAL BLOCKING PATTERN STYLE.
