Did you have to do any adjustments to the bridge?
@Tylersimpson019 ай бұрын
Yes, I did have to modify this instrument slightly, at the cost of about $5 USD. It comes with a floating bridge, I struggled for 2 days trying to get the intonation correct. I ended up having to buy some bronze bushing and slotted them in the holes that the bridge sits in and it made it stationary and completely fixed my intonation issues.

Why always put single coils on baritone? For metal it's not better to have a humbucker built for low ends?
@jackandrews5579 Жыл бұрын
It's supposed to be a bass guitar, not necessarily a baritone! It has a bass cut switch on it to adjust how much low end you want, so the single coils actually work really powerfully for low ends in this particular instrument!
@ivanziiin Жыл бұрын
pretty sure loathe uses that, right?

oh...I cant put that gain on my vi
@tyler_bt3326 Жыл бұрын
It’s not gain you want. You want an EQ first, then gain. Have the EQ set to cut bass and boost high mids and treble. That’s how you get that “modern” low guitar tone. Then add just enough gain to get the sound breaking up. A lot of that “heavy” sound comes from your picking as much as it does the amp too

Right on. I was watching on my phone so it was slightly difficult to see on a smaller screen. I suppose I couldve been more specific of what part I was talking about. Its where you're going back down the neck back to the beginning part of the chorus but you knew what I meant so it worked out lol. I pretty much just learned this song by listening and watching you play it. Thanks for the reply man and the song sounded great. Sick bass and guitar as well.

I think he just means he's "demo-ing" the bass. Showing what it sounds like in that setting. Agreed tho. Super killer. I just got picked up as a bass player this week by this band, and when I went in the store to get a new bass, I almost wanted to pull the trigger on it. These things can be used in so many different ways. I would love to use one in a band setting someday

Pitch Shifter :)
2 жыл бұрын
@@Tylersimpson01 I didn't get your answer, can you clarify please, because i have the same question
@Tylersimpson012 жыл бұрын
@ Pitch shifting. Kemper has a built-in pitch shifter, but you can get the same effect with pedals. Like the Electro Harmonics "Pitch Fork", or Digitech pitch shifter. I usually just keep my guitars in Drop C and then pitch shift around to whatever tuning I need.
