That turn around the roadblock at ten seconds in, just exemplifies what this car is all about. Controlled chaos. Enough to scare you and enough to make you feel secure doing extremely unwise things....

I have a 2016 toyota prius c with 33k miles. Ive had it for about 2 years. And found a dealership near me selling a base 2006 miata with upgraded radio with a back up. I want to trade in my prius for it. And am going to look into it more soon. Im only 20 and it would be my second car. You have any tips or things that I should look out for other than what you said in your video? I forgot to add my prius estematid trade in is round 13k and i found the 2006 for 9k with 59k miles. It did have 1 colision on the front 2 sides. And says no frame damage. Ill ofc check that inperson for the test drive

As an everyday driver you are sacrificing the car. Mileage gets high quickly and road salt is responsible for much of the future failures 😢 . Might want to consider not daily driving it. Mine has nearly 250k miles on it 😮but can always find another low mileage one to replace it 😅

Hi there! Just curious….are you in SE Michigan? I ask because I saw a Miata very similar to yours while taking my normal daily cruise down Hines Drive in Northville-Livonia area. I like your channel! I own a ‘13 Club in pearl white. First Miata that I’ve owned for four years. Love the car! Have you checked out Miata’s At The Gap yet?
@JustCarPeopleThings2 ай бұрын
It wasn’t me, but not far from there! I’ve not been to the gap with a Miata, but it’s a really wonderful drive.

I’ve been very fortunate to not have any issues with the drains. Car spends 90% of its time under a shelter, in a garage, and if I need to leave it outdoors for a day or two I use a top cover. The car is a 2013 Club and so far the drains have never been dealt with.

@17:28 I appreciate you guys so much for being so careful with a factory loaner. But, I guarantee you could have made that if you just slammed the throttle, hard. The algorithm would have pick up on what your were laying down and it would have increased power to all the motors. If I was borrowing the vehicle, however, I would have most likely done the exact same thing (although, I have to imagine Riving is thing…just send it dude…send it).
@JustCarPeopleThings2 ай бұрын
If we break them enough sooner or later they won’t let us play with them. So we do have to be careful not to damage them. As mentioned the less you care about a vehicle, the more capable it is off-road. 😅

im 19 and i got my first real "classic" car which is a 1979 corvette about 4 months ago. 92k original miles, garage kept for the most part, and it came with the original L48 motor. opened the hood up and low and behold there is a holley carburetor, headers, and a non-stock intake. engine bay looks really good and barely has any rust in it at all. I did some research and apparently the l48 motor was pretty slow in stock form, which is fine for me because i wanst planning on racing. however, i did give the thing some throttle and boy, did it really bust a move. paint is white, looks pretty decent, and is in good shape, with only two cracks in the paint on the hood, and a few bubble spots, (what do you expect, its a 45 year old car) but i do believe it was a maaco job after i saw the overspray in the engine bay and the overall quality of the paint itself. Interior needs a tiny amount of work, including: new dash (its missing for some reason) and some small plastic furniture pieces that have been slightly sun damaged. Seats are in incredible shape, door panels are likewise impeccable. The radio, windshield wipers, and auto door locks do not work, but that is okay for now. The thing rides great and makes very little noise in the rear end. It pretty much runs and drives like a brand new car. I aint complaining.. Only paid 12k for the thing, and its been a great car so far! It does, however, have a small exhaust leak in one of the header pipes, which was welded closed by the looks of it (not very good i might add) I absolutely love my vette and i feel like these later 70's vettes get a bad reputation for something so simple! these cars are still very enjoyable even if they dont have 20 million horsepower. all you gotta do is replace some parts and viola! youre making more horsepower! ALL c3s deserve love because they are just beautiful cars (the best looking corvette generation in my opinion) In my honest opinion, i would take a nice later 70's vette over a sub-par chrome bumpered c3! The fast-back rear window on the 78 and 79 looks so cool, and i actually kind of like them without the chrome bumpers and with the plastic ones and with the rally wheels. it looks like a race car, especially if it has side pipes. the earlier ones look more like a fancy sports car to me. rock on with that 78!

Best way to clean roof drains is to remove them for cleaning - few trim pieces behing the seats around seat belt, lift big piece and remove seatbelt tensioner - behind it is your drain pipe.

If you check the numbers the Rivian R1S has more stprage capacity area than the new model Yukon/Tahoe. That is included the frunk. I have drive both and notice I could fit so much that had to check the data I believe 79 ft³ to 72ft³. Anyhow it was close but size wide Tahoe is much bigger

I bought a new NC2 Special Edition in 2011 and have owned it ever since. I still just love this great little sports car and even though I’ve just bought a beautiful new ND 3 I doubt if I could ever part with the NC (affectionally as Dolphin because of the colour, Dolphin Grey)as it’s just become part of the family.

How does the Nc compare to the S2000 so far?
@JustCarPeopleThings3 ай бұрын
We’ll have an upcoming video on this subject, but suffice to say a Miata has always been 80-90% of the S2000. If you can life with a softer edge and perhaps dorkier looks, the Miata is a great car.

Purchased an '07 Grand Touring 6sp manual soft top in Copper Red Mica with the same color interior and top as yours in April. Mine has the suspension upgrades. It had a little over 35k miles on it and when I bought it and I've put about 4k miles on it so far. Excluding the 3-hour rainy drive back home from New Jersey where I purchased it, I have driven it with the top up for about an hour. Just a great car to drive in dry weather with the top down. Since I bought it in the spring, I paid a premium at $15,000 plus the cost of new tires, but I don't feel like I overspent at all (I know I could have spent much less for one with more miles on it). The car is amazing. I'm replacing the coolant tank tomorrow, and installing a new front spoiler as well. You hit all of the major points as it relates to things to look for. I've replaced the front drain cowls, and used the trombone cleaner on the rear drains to address the potential water issues in the rear of the car as well. Other minor modifications include radio head unit upgrade to a Sony Apple CarPlay / Android Auto unit, replaced incandescent bulbs with LED lights (installed unit to allow multiple directional blinks when changing lanes and to avoid hyper flash with the LED lights). Planning on either coilovers or lowering springs next year, as well as replacing the stock exhaust.
