I’ve been engaged for almost a year and a half and am getting married in the next few months. I’ve enjoyed being engaged for this long and would actually recommend a longer engagement before taking on the stress of wedding planning. It also gave us time to save money and slowly plan by getting ideas from our friends’ weddings. I also was on the vibe of letting my friends shine and have their moment since I wasn’t in a rush ✨
