Noise was NOT the problem. The real problem were shitty clamp design, which had HIGH RISK of CHIPPING THE CPU CORE. "GREAT JOB" thermaltake.

omg i had one of these, thing was fucking heavy, felt like the mobo was going to fall apart, and the noise i had to put some kind of matress so i could sleep while downloading MP3 at 5kb/s. I'm afraid to buy any kind of cooling solution from Tt because of it.

fact the Losi 5ive t is assembled in North America and in Europe. The DBXL is assembled in China. This really explains why the 5IVE T is so far superior to the DBXL. the Chinese counterpart uses cheaper servos, shocks and a smaller power plant. there is a new 1/5th that is out now that resembles the dbxl but is built fairly the same as the 5ive t. something 1000 they call it. forgive me I cannot remember the actual name but I'm sure one of you can correct me

Thanks man! Yeah it was lots of fun, haha. I think the worst part is the front wheels spraying snow into the car. You'd need some kind of mudguards preventing it from getting into the car. Taping the windshield might be good also. Just remember to let the engine breath and cool properly. Have fun! :-)

Awesome video! Just got mine 3 months ago and cannot wait till it snows.. I plan on taping the front (windshield) i suppose to reduce some snow getting in but itll be the last time it sees snow because im turning it into a speedster.

The Vorza is a blast to drive and it sure can take a beating as well. I think it might be a bit heavy for pure racing but it can work.

They do look similar and for what it's worth I believe that Bartolone might have been involved in the development of the pipe together with Losi. What you do get when you shell out that extra bucks for the Bartolone pipe is an even better construction, I think it looks better and the mounting is improved over the Losi pipe. I've seen the Losi pipe destroying the crankcase through too much leverage on rough landings etc. So you might have to construct a better support structure.

I've repeatedly heard the same thing. Its kind of hard to believe though since most people seem to cough up the extra $100 for the Bartolone. Ive been wanting a pipe for a bit and I think I'm gonna get the LOSI pipe, I'm just looking for that peace of mind.

To be honest I don't know how well it performs in comparison to others since I've only tried this. But it definitely gives the car extra power and torque. I think it's similar to the pipe from Bartolone.

Hi! We used a GoPro Hero 3. Sometimes WVGA 240fps but most of the time 720p 120fps.

No, the game is not on the auto pilot!!! I have the game too. When you select the auto pilot you see the difference immediately. The AI tends to rapidly hit and release the gas pedal in order to keep the revs up to nominal power while turning, unlike the man on this video who keeps a constant pressure on the gas pedal while negotiating a curve ... the guy really has skills! :)
