The name of the throw is Harai goshi - “sweeping hip” is a hip throw. Goshi is hip. harai goshi is a hip throw that uses the hip as a fulcrum point, not the leg

As a judo fan and former practitioner myself, I understand what type of work these athletes put in on a daily basis. We all see the sweat dripping from them and see the hard work in the videos, but we don’t see the sacrifices these young athletes make behind the scenes. I’m here to remind or inform everyone that the monetary rewards and sponsorship for these athletes are never enough. I do not know the owner of the channel or anyone featured in it personally but Im making a plea for them, and ask that you consider supporting it financially even if it means choosing a small amount, here and the. I been away from the sport, but from what I know, these athletes, a lot of times spend their own family’s money to advance their judo careers. Jonathan Yang is a World Cadet Champion representing our country. A country that wipes away all gold medals from olympic games, but comes shorthanded when it comes to our beloved sport of judo. So the point Im trying to make is that Jonathan’s gold medal is even that much more special representing a country that is not known to the world as one with the elite athletes when it comes to judo. Lets all try to support this special young man financially ourselves because i know he doesnt receive enough from the Judo Federation. Besides, next time we see US flag raised in the world stage by him, we can all take credit for it knowing that we contributed to the cause.

Looks good, and looks correct. And having a left and right throws from the same grip is such a good arsenal to have because it can keep the opponents guessing. You have a nice judo and i appreciate fighters who got that one technique that they rely on heavily.
