I bought this telescope and it has a good lens and structure, but the tripod is very complicated. I'm going to use it for videos on my Channel, and if everything goes well, I'll buy the SV48P 90mm to do live broadcasts.

Be careful buying stuff like this. I didn’t properly research my scope (mainly because it was a cheap Chinese scope so impossible really,) and ended up buying all this crap for nothing, because my telescope’s focal plane can’t get close enough to the camera’s sensor, so now I have to try to adapt the camera WITH the kit lens to the telescope, and while I’m confident it’ll work, the results will likely be subpar. Guess I’ll have to wait a few days to see
@svbonyoptics9 күн бұрын
We are sorry to hear about your experience, but you can try our telescope, and I believe you won't be disappointed.
@xx3astmanxx9289 күн бұрын
@ has nothing to do with the scope but the adapter. People are buying this thinking they can just stick it on any DSLR on any refractor and achieve focus and that’s simply not the case. Some people will need field flatteners, others field reducers, and some may even require focal extenders.

What is scope magnification
@svbonyoptics10 күн бұрын
**Scope magnification** refers to how much a telescope enlarges distant objects. It's calculated by dividing the telescope's focal length by the eyepiece's focal length. Higher magnification makes objects appear larger but can reduce the field of view and brightness.

So is this basically an RGB multi filter, as it just seems the same as any light pollution filter, what is the difference.?
@svbonyoptics13 күн бұрын
Hello, it is not an RGB filter. SV260 broadband starfield filter is designed to filter out non-target wavelengths of light while retaining as many bands as possible, effectively improve the contrast between target and background; making deep-sky objects (such as nebulae, star clusters, etc.) clearer when observing and photographing.
